    This guy is absolutely quality at this level, not the quickest by any means but his game awareness more than makes up for that, he looks calm, solid and reads the game so well which is all you need in L2

    I think he'll be fine in L1 if we go up. Remember, no way can he be at peak fitness - given his injury issues this season.

    Thought it was a massive risk (it could still be) when he signed,but he’s slotted in seamlessly.

    He hasn't but with Stubbs lack of pace is either one or the other for me and say the moment I think Stubbs might just be edging it

    Neither has Banks pr Phil Foden at Manchester City. But if you've got a winning team - that's how unfair footie life is.

    In fairness to the canny Hughes, he is rightly sticking with the likely partnership for next season. Plus he is correct to show loyalty to Platt, who although I think is extremely limited at defending as cover for Halliday, hasn't done much wrong.

    I agree it's been a decent partnership, but we need a centre half with bit of speed and neither Stubbs or platt are the quickest so something needs to give IMO
