Looks like you are right 30 seconds in the quick highlights on Y/T shows the ref walk away from him…No sign of a yellow.

 

Impressed with Stubbs. He slotted into the back 4 seamlessly after signing and would certainly do a job for us in league 1 if we manage to get promoted

 

Last two games has had two defensive howlers that could have cost us. Hoping these are just a minor blip.

 

Agreed he's had a couple of dodgy moments but end of the day that's why he's a lower league defender, if he didn't have a couple blips he'd be playing much higher up. I really like the guy as he's exactly what we needed a big, hard and calm no nonsense defender.

 

He reminds me of Rory McArdle in his early days here. Impressive and looks strong for 99% of a game but always seemed to have a mistake in him.

Those moments though grew less and less as time went on and hopefully Stubbs will follow suit.

 

Whatever division we're playing in next season we definitely need to find him a partner for next season, as I can't see us getting Critchlow back although hope I'm wrong and Platts done a good steady job this season but I just don't think he can make the step up to L1 if we get promoted.

The mistakes aside (it happens and thankfully didn’t cost us) his long range passing in their first half yesterday was really impressive. He put two cross-field passes out to Chapman with his right foot which were top draw……….during the same time the commentary were debating whether he was right or left footed.
