I thought Chapman had a very good game. It bemuses me that anyone would think otherwise. He was a constant threat

Wasn't someone questioning Chapman in this thread?
Constant threat according to the highlights, involved in all our best play.
I think this might be a season where the boo boys give up on finding a scapegoat/weak link because there isn't one.

Fantastic win against a promotion rival, and away from home, too...
What's really impressing me about this team is the ability to rise to a challenge.
Stevenage at home? Thrashed them. Salford away? Three points. Tranmere are climbing the table, we beat them no problem.
I just like what I'm hearing and seeing. We need to be more consistent to break into the top three, but I really wouldn't take that off the table. We have the best performing centre forward in the division, and long are the days of dreading a Saturday game or praying for an away point.

Salford rely on putting things through Watt. Chapman's job was to stop him controlling the game for them. Not pretty but he did the job well

Probably our best performance of the season. Should have been more than 1. And we set the tone for playing good football by earning the right, when we didn't have the ball. Much more intensity and aggression about us than last weekend. Really good win is that.

I'm becoming increasingly impressed by Foulds. I thought he was too lightweight for a promotion push - but I could now see him been able to adapt to L1 if we get there.
Nice problem for Hughes, two LB's who are two of the best in the division.nicknameless, Stoneski, bantamdave41 and 5 others like this. -

Excellent win. Well done to the lads for bouncing back after last week's poor performance.

What a result and performance as well. Everyone a 7 at least. Keep this up and we will be definitely leaving this league this season.
Great reaction from all at the club to analyse last weeks defeat and put a plan in place to rectify it. MH said they had worked on selecting the right moments to press and what signals to give each other to work as a team to good effect.
Really proud to be a Bantam right now.

Today was the perfect away performance. Hughes did a number on Salford like Challinor did against us last week. He didn't throw plan A out of the window, instead predicting that Salford would approach the game with a style that would suit our plan A down to the ground. Let them have the ball on a piss poor pitch, possesion means nothing if you aren't gonna commit to creating chances as we have found out ourselves. For all their possession we controlled most of the game with ease.
Oh and did I mention how great it was to see Cooky break his poor run of one game without a goal...Stoneski, bantamdave41, Budgie and 3 others like this. -
