I've bought one/two every season since there inception, but haven't given it a second thought for the coming season, maybe I'll change my mind when we see those marquee signings coming through the door.

Can't understand why people are moaning about Salford City climbing the league's with a bit of investment. Plenty on here thought we'd got our future guaranteed with German investment. Knock the ex man Utd players all you want but we're playing them next season.

Seeing as though we’re in the tinpot league now, we can do what other tinpot clubs do and copy original chants and songs!

If we end up exchanging Luton Town away to Salford City Away I think I would cringe myself to death.

 

I don’t hate Salford at all. Like you say @Ricc if somebody cane to our club we all would embrace it, well probably but depends us how much they want to change.

We will be the underdogs to money pure and simple.

 

Have the Class of 92 actually been pumping money in or is it just Lim with the ex players more a branding exercise? It looks better having them as figure heads rather than foreign billionaire pumps millions into non league club. The set up of the shares seems to be to give him voting rights where he can not be outvoted

Was going to add there's more than a few others trying to do the same mate.

 

The percent isn’t particularly important as the famous ones hold a lower class of shares to the big man.

 

Perhaps a certain ex winger might have some "friends" who could lay their hands on some cash

 

It is a similar set up to City had with he previous owners. Different people owned different types of shares with differing voting rights.

Lawn owned a third of shares but had half the votes.
JR owned a third and had half the votes. The Prof owned a third and had no votes

 

Nearly right, As far as am aware JR had 51% of the voting rights and ML 49%

 

I will bow to your knowledge but there was a rumour that ML did not want to sell but JR did and had the extra share so the sale went ahead, It is usually considered bad practice for shares to be equal as it promotes deadlock in any business
