Fans getting all excited about baggging tickets for Salford away.
Christ get me out of this god awful football division.

 

Is this the Salford thread or another covid one?

 

Not retired yet and when I do I plan to do long walks with beer at the end. That's why the DIY needs doing now.

The need to go in the home end seems to be gathering pace on social media.
I'm not in anyway connected to Bradford City other than a supporter but just think on before fighting in the home stands like last season.
There will almost certainly be serious financial implications and a full investigation as always.
This will cost City inevitably.
Club's like Salford don't have enough segregation structure in place it's that simple the stadium is poorly designed.
Fans will do what they like but remember it will come at a price,just saying like.

 

Salford are 51% owned by one if Singapore's richest men. They could and would survive without any fans if it bought progression up the leagues.

They don't exist for the fans, they are a vanity project.

 

Always thought FA Cup rules were 15%, that explains MR for Reading and Sunderland. Not sure of League Cup, think it’s 10% - maybe we just decided to extend FA rules?!

 

Tenous link but I'm sure one of the brothers is ex Bradford Bulls player Nathan McAvoy. Remember reading he'd gone into the brewing business with his family.

 

But if I'd done that and we sell out, which is virtually certain, then I've closed my options. This way I can make a decision nearer the time. I should have no problem offloading the ticket if I decide not to go.

 

Bronco is spot on. The option for Away Priority was open to everyone, I fell having a one off scramble for these was far better than having a weekly scramble down the line.

Having been screwed over for Chelsea tickets because the club allocated the sale of 4 tickets bought from the ticket office for Millwall to one account which basically excluded me from online sales I've got a priority ticket to avoid the hassle of the clusterfuck we saw this morning.

I did manage to get tickets for Chelsea but had to jump through various hoops to do so.

So knowing previous problems with the sale of tickets, it seemed sensible to remove myself from that lottery.

 

Anyone that drags themselves to Rawdon Meadows every morning deserves priority.

 

They should have given us another stand, they’ve averaged around 1000 home fans so far this season and that’s without a big festival there that weekend. They’re just losing money not giving us more, but I suppose money doesn’t matter to much to that lot. I’ll be glad when they lose interest and the club can go back to Sunday league where it belongs. It’s a shame as they could have done some good and bought a Bury or Oldham a traditional club that’s struggling, and the Nevilles and Scholes have links to them.

 

Another shambles this morning with ticketing site. Same every time. Wonder if Shipley bantams have managed to get their tickets?

I’d suspect most members of Shipley Bantams would have a priority away card.

 

The games with restricted attendances due to size of ground should be moved to either teatime or to Sunday thus allowing coverage by iFollow and extra money for the clubs and letting fans watch who cannot get tickets

 

Now that would have been fun to watch on here..............................

 

I know this my sound conceited but I've done all that years ago and as I've posted I have nothing but admiration for the likes of CibaSteve etc who still do the long away days.

 

A little OTT with that comment, but when the weather is good nothing like a couple of hours in the sun getting a little fresh air.

 

The fans crying about missing out are the worst, it’s an away day with absolutely nothing going for it other than it’s close by. Give me Orient any day of the week. I have a priority pass and had no desire to get Salford tickets I’ll be there tomorrow though. Football is about more than a quick route home and 90 minutes on the pitch.
