Don't be silly. The pandemic is pretty much localised to Bradford and every other club has absolute financial certainty.

Or it could just be a diversionary excuse for McCall again.......nah, couldn't be.

 

I would definitely be considering McCall's position were I in charge of the club - however I'm not sure it will be given serious consideration at this stage by the fellas in charge.

Maybe they'll surprise us?

But things about the situation annoy me. There's no reason for City fans to be disrespectful to Stuart McCall EVER, and the bollox arguments that he's never done anything good and is an abysmal manager is beyond stupid.

Other than that, he's fair game. I'm not vehement in my approval of Stuart as manager, but I will argue in his favour when people spout obvious nonsense because they're getting too hot under the collar about the situation.

For what it's worth, I actually think if we have a three game losing streak, he'll be gone - but I also don't necessarily see that happening just yet.

Plus, our current track record will see him sacked on February 1st, so we don't have to buy anyone.

 

Listening to the after match interview I did chuckle when Stuart said he won't hang any players out to dry publicly as they are all in it together and then promptly blamed Donaldson for their second goal.

 

I'll have the slap please!! I've had 34 years of BCFC, some good, some not so.......I'm genuinely at the point of not caring anymore, something I haven't been at since the Docherty days....

So many slipping this way I feel. The words in the media from the management and players leading up to games are often just hot air when week on week, despite many of hoping it will be different, games result in not only terrible results but performances to match.

Hard to see where and how things will change for the better right now.

Obviously McCall alluded to missing players and any fair minded Bradford City fan will accept 5 of those 6 would be starters, but as McCall said the guys who have the shirt have to step up, unfortunatly some of them are barely out of nappies a big ask but McCall did not have a lot of choice with those 6 out.
I know I may be in the minority certainly on this forum but until we get another manager in I will give Stuart McCall my full backing even though it is hard to swallow as a fan, here's yesterdays post match interview.

As I posted in my reply to wetherbywhaler I'm not suggesting the result would have been anything different but I stand by my comment the likes of Novak, Cooke, Hosannah, Staunton and Clarke would have given Salford a harder time.
I can't see Stuart going at the moment still plenty of football to be played, but for sure we need bodies back sooner rather than later.

 

He's going with the three centre backs because we dont suit a 4 4 2 with our players. Doesn't matter which formation he goes with, the defensive players are simply not good enough.
