I remember Richmond passing comment that he'd been the manager at Scarborough and he rated him, the comments passed at the time were hardly complementary so we got Lennie Lawrence :(.

the same people thought criticism for Rahic and concern for the clubs future was only on here aswell.

that was proven wrong and I’m sure this will be aswell. Those folk obviously only speak to their family and read here. So are blind to the growing disgruntlement.

I don’t have confidence in this team going up through the play-offs. Can you imagine them playing like this at Wembley?? To go up automatically we realistically now need to put a string of wins (not draws) together which we’re not set up to do with GB safety first style. I’ve backed the manager up to this point because my expectations pre-season were pretty low tbh, 10th-12th and he’s got us into a decent position, but I’m losing faith in his ability to get us through to the end goal. He doesn’t appear to have any idea on how to set the team up to get the best out of Doyle and basically he’s a one trick pony. I have changed my vote to Bowyer out and I’d take Warnock.

So your expectations pre-season were very low 10th or 11th, yet this one trick pony Bowyer has us sat 5th in the league, and your losing faith in him and want him replaced by Warnock who we don't even know if he'd take the job.
Guess this is what makes football forum so good we all see things differently.

Nope. I like away matches normally, but we haven’t been to any this season.

It’s strange that we’ve heard nothing from the club or board with regards to Bowyers position.

Surely they are aware of the growing discontent amongst the fan base or maybe not.

Also Bowyer’s pre Colchester interview is either incredibly arrogant or he is blissfully unaware of the current feeling.. Surely he could have offered a little more hope rather than saying he wants to tighten up more!

My thoughts, before a ball was kicked, was that we would be in with a shout of a Play Off place, towards the end of the season. So somewhere between 6th - 9th. However as the season progressed and we signed many new players, then my expectations grew.

Where we are, currently in the league, given the state of the club at the beginning of May, is pleasing.

Then comes the ‘buts’!!! The style of play is becoming beyond tedious. The fact that on paper we have a very potent strike force and the defence has shown itself to be capable, adds to the feeling of disillusionment.

The midfield players of: Reeves, Palmer, Cooke, Akpan, Anderson, and Divine have not delivered. We also have Connolly and McCartan. Ismail, Devitt,Gibson and Pritchard seem to be injury prone. If you add the number of players, who are ‘midfielders’, then it is a scary 12. Far too many and too much similarity in style of play. We should have been looking at about 9 or 10 at the maximum and gone for better quality rather than quantity. Same budget, but players who can offer more!

Someone has to bring these players on, rather than looking for fresh players in this window. Apparently League 2 managers were on an annual salary of about £50,000 in 2018.(Google it and there is a short feed on www.Quora.com) so the cost of getting in another coach, should not be too great.

What would you expect the club/board to say, Bowyer is contracted for two years he has us in a good league position to get an auto place, if we were around the bottom 6 or so then they might get involved but lets not forget neither Rupp or Julian are public people, Mark was always the co-chairman who spoke to the press as was Rahic.

I'd expect nothing less than an immediate vote of confidence in GB from our very own chairman! That would calm many fans' concerns at the moment :)

Well maybe they could reiterate that point even question why fans are so seemingly unhappy despite these points..

I don't disagree with much of that, we are going through a tricky period and still 5th in the league, what I won't accept is because we've had it poor recently Bowyer can't turn it around when some of what most would class as our better players Donaldson, Devitt, Pritchard Ismail, come back from injury, we've seen that anyone can beat anyone at this level this season is far from over IMO.

That's where the problem lies we have a chairman who is not a fan living in a different country
He will see the results league position and the false attendances and think all is good as a non football fan who initially saw us an investment why should he have concerns
JR should be the one offering the "dreaded" vote of confidence

The lack of football people at Bradford City is highly concerning.

I only hope Rhodes tells Rupp how it really is but I am sure he does. Rupp is meant to watch more games now but damn he must be bored.

I don't think it will be a case of just looking at the table and attendances now? The lack of season ticket sales will be then eye opening thing at the minute and the fans booing.

He is a businessman as yourself
He will see the attendances first and foremost then the results then the league position and think 20k is achievable as we are in the mix for higher league football
He won't know or care about the standard of football or the fans dissatisfaction he will see as some on here do the black and white picture (an accountants view of things)
