Instead of bringing him down he just backtracked into the box. Then it was too late.

Not at all I've watched the high lights/low lights from the video listened and posted Bowyers post match interview, and although it was a poor performance it could have been worse, I'd suggest even at 2 - 0 up most Bradford City fans knew who would score the next goal, I even posted at half time I'd take 2-1 as it was.
Seriously my days of sulking kicking the cat etc are long gone I'll have completely forgotten about it in the morning and will be hoping we can get points from both the Colchester & Mansfield games.

I know I said not names but 12 months ago I’d have gone all out for Robins at Coventry with the uncertainty there. Not a chance he comes now

 

Absolutely. His side was excellent against us in both games last season.

Just listened to Alan Shearer on MOTD slating Bournemouth and analysing why they don’t create chances and therefore don’t score many goals.
Feck me what would he say about our shower of shheeeite.

My biggest concern - of which there are many - is I have no clue as to how we are trying to play. Bowyer changes the line up every bleeding week.

What is our style? We don't play neat football. We don't play direct, fast football using the wings. Christ, we don't even play long ball to a target man (McArdle to Hanson hoof ©). It's aimless. It's passive. It's bollockless. It's safe. It's boring. I could go on. When will this team have a right good go at another team? I don't think they will.

I've had a season ticket since I was 6 in 96/97 but living an hours drive away and having a wife six months pregnant it is becoming harder and harder to justify the every other week trip back to VP. I think Bowyer has lost me.

 

There's no USP to what we do. Just stumble from one game to the next.

 

But only because their right back couldn't run and then was off the field.

 

It would be interesting to read @wetherbywhaler views because I know he goes to the games.

Fans are not happy and are in no rush to renew season tickets. We will lose fans under Bowyer!

It's clear we have the squad to go up by the football is dreadful!

Bowyer needs to go.. we can't leave it much longer of going up this season won't happen.

 

Just like the club, stumbling from season to season, no plan whatsoever.

 

I've said it countless times. There's no point in hoping for Bowyer to be more attacking because he doesn't know how to do it. And most fans know this and know that it means we won't go up this season unless we change the manager. Unfortunately there are no football men amongst our owner, board and admin combined so they don't see it like we do. And they'll stick with him and another season will be lost, the fanbase will shrink and the stagnation will be ever harder to break out of.

 

Have to admit, though, the German takeover disrupted whatever plan or model was in place.

But now is the time for Rupp to actually create something at City.

 

He needs a footballing advisor to help him out. Rhodes' time is over now, he came in to steady the ship but if Rupp wants his investment to increase in value, Rhodes isn't the man to lead it. He won't sell a vision to Rupp, other than the usual 'deficit' crap we've heard thousands of times before. I agree the potential is there, but not with the current safety first manager or CEO.

 

Our strongest suit this season has been our defence and 5 out of our first choice back 6- O’Donnell, Wood AOC, POC and Mellor- we’re already in the building when Bowyer arrived. Goodness knows where we’d be if he actually had to build one himself.
