That’s because Rhodes IS a FOOL fella. Sums up everything wrong about this club and why we stagger from crisis to crisis, not content with flogging us to deadbeat owners he is still sticking around like a bad smell and as though he is wanted. He should be apologising for helping selling us down the river whilst he cashed in, and then not content with last seasons damp squib, hangs around to oversee another painful season with his new Europop buddy Herr Rupp.

 

Gary Jones would not have been prepared to be camped out hoofing the ball anywhere while poor oposition controlled every aspect of the play in front of him. At some point Jones is going to get hold of the ball and start to get some intent into our play. Then I know him better than he knows himself eh ?

Julian & Mark were here under the Parky days hardly crisis to crisis.
Julian & Mark openly said they would sell to owners who could take us to the next level as they had limited finance, I'm sure Rahic & Rupp showed them their bank books, but you know the old saying "you can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink" ie Rupp can be the richest man in the world that doesn't mean he will pump it into Bradford City.
Appologise for what selling the club to two guys who told us fans we were the ideal club and they had big plans going forward.
Julian was asked to return and take over the reigns when Rupp found out his buddy was screwing him, he didn't apply for the job.

Sorry Broncs can't agree. It's been done to death on here, but you cant take a sh!t load of dividend's out (Along with Geoffrey whom was and has been ever since pilloried for his share ) and then sit on your hands there after without counterability. Plus if I remember rightly didn't the Rhodes family actually have a majority shareholding (By either 1 share or 1% can't recollect ) at the time .

 

Is Rhodes getting paid to do his job?

Rhodes and Lawn should of put something in place in the contracts to say you've to do x or buy extra to take the club forward.

You don't have to agree fans have different opinions of various situations, but lets stick to the post in question, the admins were only one aspect of the post.

 

TBF Bronco, JR's City CV is horrendous, he's presided over 2 admins, the fall from the PL to the basement division and worse of all, the loss of our home, Valley Parade, Then, sold us to a charlatan. And still we have a garbage pitch and an antiquated ticketing system, a piss poor 1998 website along with zero (meanginful) club promotion.

 

How can anyone defend that! Embarrassing!

we could have folded and started from scratch after admin and been in a better state than we are now, not saddled with a ground we don’t own and can’t fill at top dollar.

Whether he applied or not he should have stayed away last January, the guy is IMO a disaster and has not a clue about football or club PR, the wall of silence right now says it allow the latter.

And perhaps he did what he felt were the best options at the time and stuck his neck on the line when no one else was willing to do it, but the facts are he has been around for nigh on 20 years and has neither the gumption or resources this club needs right now.

 

Not sure how you can call Julian & Mark out on selling the club to charlatans as you say, they obviously meet the details of the sale and passed the FL fit and proper persons, what more could they do.

 

And what image does he project? He could sit on your face in a home kit and you wouldn't recognise him.

 

Well, obviously, they didn't do well enough! How long did it take the fans to start doubting Rahic's credentials? Not very long and that was in good times not the latter bad times.
