    Yes, he is a rookie but brings a lot to Rangers and the league.

    If they knew what they were doing through the week and had prepared to play a certain way, they wouldn’t have to change formation 2,3 or 4 times during a match. Surely someone has to scout the opponents weeks before we play them, so there’s no surprises on a match day.

    We don’t need 3 coaches barking instructions from the bench, this is excessive and confusing. If he is to stay on, then change the set up because it ain’t working.

    It hasn’t taken long for 14 or 15 new players to give up and this can only be because they don’t understand what Collins is trying to do or they don’t believe in what he’s trying to do.

    I thought an underlying idea was ‘performance related’ pay?

    So surely that is a ‘basic salary’ and that if the club hits its various performance targets then. something on the lines of:
    • ‘Win the League’, they get a mega bonus;
    • If it is automatics, it is a massive bonus;
    • Promotion through the Play Off’s a mega bonus (because the Club will get dosh from TV and appearance rights);
    • Play Off’s but no promotion a moderate bonus;
    • Seventh to ninth a medium bonus;
    • Tenth to thirteenth a set of ‘How they do it in The Bundesliga’ coaching DVD’s;
    • Fourteen to nineteenth, a sweeping brush;
    • Twentieth to twentyfourth, a pair of P45’s (delivered early).

    Yes that’s a fair point. He’d be better smartening up perhaps - get that beard trimmed, nice whistle and flute, get the Barnet done - all good impressions!
