Good grief we’re still in August and calling for Collins head. I agree that if things don’t improve he simply has to go as it’s a result driven industry. But really after three game get real! Yes he’s going to make mistakes and in my opinion should never have been appointed but give him chance to turn it round and if he doesn’t after 10 or so games off you go. But who in their right mind would take it.
Re Killer don’t believe it’s anything to do with bonuses or stuck on his 49th game it’s just a sake of they don’t get on. Killer older wiser played at a higher level but being managed by someone his junior in every respect must be hard to take. I think there has been a few clashes on the training pitch resulting in the current state of affairs. There’s no way on this earth that Nat P should be picked ahead of him.

Having not been to a game yet (first one on Tuesday) could someone please provide some insight as to what is going wrong, formation wise, style wise etc...

By the time the season started I was fairly pleased with the squad we had assembled.

 

I'll be honest i don't know. Putting the results to one side for a minute, he doesn't look or sound like a someone who should be in a head coach position. At the very best he should be an assistant working his way up. He looks nervous in interviews and his body language in and around the dug out fill me with little if no confidence. Now taking the games into consideration, i went to Shrewsbury and was impressed with the way he went two up front to counter a Shrewsbury team who were on top at that point of the game.I was less impressed with Joe Riley who didn't look ready for league 1 football. I also thought that the pairing of Akpan and Wright looks way too negative in midfield, both players sit way too deep. What hasn't impressed me since is the way he has stuck with Riley when we have a better fullback in Mellor, also the fact he has opted for the lone striker upfront, something that hasn't worked in any of the three league games so far. Today and Barnsley we have looked absolutely clueless and Tuesday wasn't much better. 2 goals in 4 games and scrambling defence at the back leaves me worried at the moment. I haven't lost patience just yet, but i'm not far off that point. If he makes the same fundamental mistakes on Tuesday night my patience will be at breaking point.
