A MUST read for ALL supporters .............

Firstly, thank you all for entering this thread.

I am a long standing Bradford City supporter, and I am in a quest to gather as much understanding and support from Loyal football fans, nationwide.

Many in the Football fraternity have been shocked and stunned by Bradford Citys abysmal start to the season - None moreso than the Clubs own supporters. However, the decline is set to get worse.

To briefly, but cruelly put this in simple terms ........ Bradford City are without doubt the worst performing team in the whole of the PL and EFL in 2018 ............FACT.

Some 'unqualified' incident took place as City lost against Yeovil (FA Cup), early last January.
City were in the top six (again), and Stuart McCall was 'unduly' sacked a few weeks later. Enter Simon Grayson, a Manager with a reputable good record. Yes, City finished in 11th position.
The job on offer was SO attractive, that Grayson turned down a two year contract - and is still unemployed!

Our current Chairman / CEO / Head of recruitment / Football guru / Chief bottle washer has disembowelled our Club from top to bottom, both on and off the pitch.
Leading staff, officials and players have either been Sacked, Resigned, or moved on.

Although no Manager was in place, Summer recruitment went ahead - but fell well short with at least FOUR positions not covered !! (Thanks to a reduced budget)
Inspite of a number of 'rumoured' quality applicants ...... Our chairman - Edin Rahic opted to promote two junior members of youth training staff to head our coming season. REALLY ?? YES !!
The pre season game schedule was a total disaster, no planning, and first team players having minimum game time. REALLY ? YES !!

Collins' coaching team were soon seen to be out of their depth, and so Collins was sacked - BUT - only AFTER all transfer deadlines had passed. REALLY ?? YES !!

Along comes David Hopkin as the new Head Coach - Only half a 'team', and he is already hamstrung !

Not only that ..... Such is the poor overall quality in our team - He cannot enforce a playing system that has worked so well for him in the past.
We have so many injuries, that youth players fill our subs bench, most games. In addition to that - About 5 pros on the pitch are played 'out of position', so no wonder City can't win.
The teams confidence has taken one Helluva beating. But so have we City supporters.

Following our poor finish to last season, City have lost about 4k season ticket holders. And if that isn't enough, we had around another 4k less as we gifted Coventry 3 points this week, that figure will increase week by week, I'm sure.

SO ............ What am I asking ?

Simple, really. Just please understand, Home or Away, any vitriolic chants will be directed at our Board, and not you fans. If you feel it in your hearts, then just support us when, and where you can.

I never gave it a thought, as my 'copy' is as clear as crystal .
I intend to visit as many Club Forums as I can, and post this message on there.
