Exactly. At least he’s prepared to speak unlike our former CEO and our owner. Both of whom seem to like to hide under a rock and just hope everything turns out ok.

I have certainly never known a CEO in any business be so averse to speaking publicly as J.R was in all his years at the club. Hardly confidence inspiring to his customer base.

 

Unless we are playing a injury depleted Shipley Juniors under 9’s then I’ll be fully expecting another defeat today.

 

The one thing he does need to do is totally separate himself from any bcfc related social media activity. Its not appropriate for a CEO to be spreading messages by social media. He should have "people" for that.

 

Rhodes hasn't got the balls to speak in public or admit he gave the worst manager in our history a contract extension. Take out Richmond and Lawn, when he had no direct influence, and Rhodes entire time at the club is a disaster. He makes Gerald Ratner look like Bill Gates.

 

Why has he dug himself in a hole? he has removed the headache of recruiting a new manager.

McCall will not be sacked by the present regime, he will though almost certainly walk away when it all goes wrong. The problem is what state will the club be in when he does decide to go. Could be too late if where in a hopeless position when it happens.

I far from agree that this is a good appointment but let's not go OTT, he's hardly gone very quiet has he? He did a very long Radio Leeds interview only last week. Are you expecting a snippet every day from him?

 

He could answer fans concerns or keep updates from the club on his Twitter but nothing since he posted about the rugby league grand final.

It might not be your cup of tea of keeping in touch with the fans but it would show some involvement with the fan base in these depressing times.

 

Not sure I agree. What else can he say at this stage? He gave that interview last week and nothings really changed on the pitch. He said they’d arrest the slide in January and McCall mentioned talk of them sitting down to sort that out this week?
I don’t get a programme but sure someone on here does, he will have done some notes in there maybe for the home games this week?

 

We need communication I agree but so far he’s done more than Rhodes did in 18 months or so.
He’s backed McCall by giving him the extension and said he will sort his targets out for January too. I don’t agree with that decision but that’s where we are and I imagine he doesn’t really have much else to say at this stage

 

He must have done his CEO training course at the School of stating the bleeding obvious.Got to back up the empty words about disappointment this and being prepared that with some serious action in the coming months.Then we can start to believe the 3 of them can get us out of this self inflicted mess and not until.
