I’ve read this board for years, had the same name on Claret and Banter and the OMB for what it’s worth, so don’t give me that. I go home and away and have done for years but because I’ve only posted 216 times on a message board I’m a negative shit stirrer? I take huge offence to this comment.

I’m concerned for the club and it’s fans, that ain’t shit stirring. What positives have we had since July 2018 by the way? You keep your head in the sand/up the clubs arse and see where we are in 12 months. I’m so negative because the club is knackered, from top to bottom, we’ve gone from a sniff of the championship to probable non league football in 3 and a half years, what the feck do you want me to act like? People like you are the absolute cancer of our fan base, happy to accept this utter shite and push blame onto fans like me, mock us because we don’t tow the positivity line. Get real. Look where we are, where we’re going and how far we’ve dropped since May 2017.

Again, what have we had to shout about the last 3 and a half years?
Much prefer to mix with realistic, down to earth fans who see problems instead of accepting them, than condescending pricks like yourself.

It was interesting listening to the podcast Darragh McAnthony does (with a City fan)....he was young, like Sparks, when he took over at Posh. However, the key difference is that Darragh had already run his own successful business, brokering big deals.

With all respect to Sparks, and I am not doubting his suitability for marketing and comms roles, he doesn’t have any experience running a business.

What support is he getting? Rupp doesn’t seem interested and can’t be offering much guidance. Rhodes is off now his successor has been found?

It seems an awfully big job for someone so raw. Fan morale is at an absolute low - message boards, forums, phone ins, Twitter, Facebook....everyone shouting up wants McCall out. Brave (or stupid) to go against the mood and hand him a new contract.

We have reached an all time low and in danger. We have CEO that shouldn't be CEO. We have an owner that seems not bothered.

I'm not getting into the posted/not posted debate over the years, it's irrelevant. I don't post that much in the overall scheme of things...I was in on the fly by to get rid of Edin and I seriously hoped things would improve..

But let's get real about this. It's not effing work experience, bring your kid to work day.

Ryan has no business management experience, no financial management experience...his 'mentor' is someone who put the club in admin, saw us through it like austerity...

If there was an external advert for the role he wouldn't tick any boxes whatsoever!!

I have more 'life' experience and more business experience with a FTSE 100 company than he will ever have... sadly I have no money to invest...



It really does come across as a 'cheap' appointment.

 

Never mind the FTSE 100 experience or the lack of cash, that's irrelevant. It would appear that it's your Twitter credentials that are of the utmost import in 2020.

 

I've seen nothing to suggest that Ryan is a capable CEO. The appointment wreaked of the cheapest possible appointment.

I get the feeling that tosh We Keep Fighting video was his doing which has appeared on Twitter and Facebook.

Bradford are heading for relegation and still people think we are too big to go down.

We are no bigger club that Notts County, Wrexham, Stockport, etc who are already down there. We had two years in the sun but beyond that our level has been tier 3 & 4 so the fact tier 5 is on the cards won't come as a suprise to many.

We are were we are on merit, with rudderless leadership at all levels and people recruited because they had one good game against us (Samuels) or because they were cheap and lived in the areas (DMH).

 

You could say that if it wasn’t for Rupp insisting that Rhodes hang around a bit longer, Sparks would’ve been on his own from September! Rhodes was quite happy to bail at the first opportunity and leave us even deeper in the mire than we are now. Rupps remit to Rhodes should’ve been to find a buyer and not a CEO. He clearly has no interest other than to minimise his losses.

Where is he to front out the supporters and endorse his CEO?

The caller on radio Leeds from the supporters board called it bang on yesterday. We’re sleepwalking into the National League because Stuart believes the players (who were hardly pulling up trees) are due back and will save the day. Just as they thought we’d escape relegation to league 2 when many supporters called it after seeing the final squad lacked quality.
