If all you can do is pick anything negative out of that interview then you don't deserve a football club to support. BPA are in desperate need of fans.

Perhaps I’ve been a bit too ‘worky’ when listening to his interview.

 

Perhaps - football is an emotive sport at the best of times so when we are in the shit we are in it is easy to hear negatives in everything. Sparks did well tonight in my eyes, but as he said, words are now so hollow without positive action to back it up.
Get into the festive spirit a bit (Covid, lockdowns, brexit and Eastenders miserable Christmas specials! )

For starters referenced fans criticising him for being too young and inexperienced.... sound familiar?

Listening tonight I heard the exact opposite. Ryan said he has had long conversations with Stefan and Stefan backs his approach. How is that not being bothered exactly?

 

When Stefan has gone things will finally change.

 

I enjoyed his latest interview. Sounded positive and decisive.

Only bit of advice I'd give him is to stop mentioning his age. If its irrelevant, which he clearly believes it is, the there's no need to make a point about it.

You'll get judged on your job not your age so focus on the bit that's important.

 

It's only partly relevant that he's young and inexperienced. That the owner is completely inexperienced, the in has no identity or sense of direction, and there is no legitimate team around him that knows about football to deal with the situation we are in is completely different to that of other young go-getters like Brady and even the lad at FGR.

Brady encouraged the buy out of Birmingham and joined the team at the top, FGR are arguably the most purposeful club in the EFL, while we're a horrible mess hoping a couple of associate directors and Julian Rhodes can somehow guide a commercially successful, well spoken and talented young man to somehow fix this oil tanker of a club on the verge of annihilation.

It's not a very good look, is it?

For many to worry that Sparks will be chewed up and spat out is not out of order in any way shape or form. It's dreadfully risky for all involved at the club, and comes at a time where we are no position to take big risks.

I mean there's support, which he'll get from most, and then there's stupid blind faith based on very little data and a couple of people's gut feeling.

 

The owner being SR? I agree. But RS has clearly outlined his vision for how he wants the club to gain an identity and move forwards by developing a team around the club for success, What else can he say and do right now?

As for your extoling the virtues of the obnoxious owner of FGR, well that's a surprise.
