What can we say about Rupp? None of us knows what he really thinks about us because he never says anything. Why might that be? Long ago I put some money into an enterprise that I knew nothing about. I hoped that it would make me some money and, as it was managed by somebody else, I almost forgot about it. Gradually, it lost its value but I didn't really care because I could afford to write it off to experience. Eventually, the whole enterprise failed and I lost my money but I wasn't that bothered because other investments did rather well. The whole picture was rosy. So does Rupp think any differently? He doesn't know about the business, just like me. He's put it in the hands of someone else, just like me. If it loses all his money will he put it down to experience just like me, knowing he's making plenty of money elsewhere? Does it really matter to him at all?
But what's for sure, if he bales out we're finished unless someone else comes to the rescue.

They do but most hope to sell it before they have to pay for it, Most suppliers will only supply retailers with insurance against default,

But how does he leave? He either sells, which is unlikely or we go into administration.

Other than the £10m I actually can't disagree with much of that. The 10m is a figure @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler mentioned as the amount that would be required, in his opinion, to buy the club and seriously take it forward. It somehow seems to have become gospel as Rupps asking price. Like yourself I would like to think Rupp would cut his losses and take £2-3m, but I still don't see anyone prepared to pay that and also fund the progress we all want

10m over the next 5 years would progress the club massively. 3M to buy the club would be a realistic price in my view. and 7m injected into the club over the next 5 seasons, ensuring this is spent in key areas such as youth development, scouting, fitness and conditioning, DOF, marketing, and a football CEO.

The problem is finding someone with 10m to splurge on a failing league 2 outfit. If you are not a city fan what makes us attractive? No assets, we don't own the ground, and its not a nice place, or attractive to investors.

I think Rupp would like someone to buy 40-49% of the club and replace Rhodes,

Don't think Mr Rupp is entirely blameless he should have known what Edin was up to without the fans having to tell him that's why huge losses exist Going forward I would like to know if he refused to release funds pre salary cap rules if so then he is entirely culpable for the mess we are in I suspect very little pressure was put on him to strengthen when we could as it would have been more difficult to balance the books blame lies firmly between Messrs Rupp Rhodes and McCall (take your pick) the key is why we didn't spend when we were able as a result we are now seeing the outcome

Patience is the word am afraid but for Mr Rupp to get anything approaching what he paid for the club he has to return us at least to the position we were in before he took over even then he would be lucky to find someone else with the same mindset he had
As per Mr Rhodes "cunning plan" that makes me go cold surely not !!!!! that doesn't bear thought
