Rupp & Sparks Out?

If our turnover is expected to be as high as twitter boy made out earlier in the season, wtfs happened? Hughes supposedly didn't take a payoff so why are we suddenly so skint that we need to flog our best players, something doesn't add up

 

Definitely no dividend payments to Herr Rupp though. Definitely not that.

Said for long time something didn’t feel right at the club… record revenue but still substandard players. It always looked like creative accounting on those PDFs published… that or simply we’ve lost some money … wonder where?

 

I don’t have the energy with this club anymore they’re running it to the ground make no doubt about it. Whether that’s competency or lack of care who knows but we’re heading there.

I’ve messaged the supporters board (I know god help me) to see if they can influence a fans forum it’s really needed. We are literally keeping this club a float don’t we deserve some open dialog!!!

 

Don't do twitter, let's see how this window pans out I'm not fussed with regards Lewis he's been disappointing so far this season, and I think what we're not hearing officially from the club Jake will be on his way.

If it is true and Mark Douglas is a good source then it’s possibly. Cash flow at this time of year. But whatever the directors loan must have come from Rupp who must be doing what he has been asked to do putting his hand in his pocket. Especially with G A saying he has money to spend

 

If our turnover is as high as twitter boy said earlier in the season, then wtf has twitter boy been doing as CEO to require an injection of a loan from Rupp? He manages the budget doesn't he?

 

Who knows what is really going on. However I do not believe the Club has cooked the books. All we may be seeing is continuing evidence of lack of communication from above and things may work out by the end of the window. The other alternative amongst many are that Sparks and GA have written the season off, believing we will not enter a relegation fight, and are consolidating and saving for the summer. Or, perhaps Rupp has decided he wants some cash now to cover some of his losses/ loan before selling at a vastly reduced asking price. Without any clarity all speculation, and I am afraid all of it lacks any positivity, which I suppose reflects how I feel as a City fan right now.

 

At least we have not made a loss of £73 million last season like Newcastle. How is that sustainable.
In any other industry , you would have been wound up with debt like that.
Football at the top end is just crazy and the real shame is it's dragging other clubs in ,who try to keep up or gain a little success.

 

Most clubs will have a shortfall that needs filling. In fact I’d imagine nearly every single club does. It isn’t unusual. What I don’t like is the fact that some people suggest that player sales are being used to cover these loans from Rupp when we need to be improving the first team drastically.
Sparks has already said that Rupp puts nothing into the club and we are self sustaining but now that’s looking like it’s rubbish.
I’ve no idea what to think anymore. I’m guessing the picture will become clearer by the end of Jan but I don’t see this squad being stronger than it was come the end of the window.

 

He has a million loan outstanding and if Douglas is right he has put more in. So it’s not true to say he hasn’t spent anything

 

But then it explains his valuation being too high. He will want back what he paid including any loans.

 

Douglas didn't say he's put more in. He hasn't. The Lewis (and Young) sale prevents him from having to do so.
