    Surely, by now, Bowyer should be pretty sure of his starting XI and preferable formation? Why does he need 2x 45mins in the last pre-season game?

    My point being, he should be starting with his preferred starting XI (where possible) and formation. I really don’t see how Doyle gets in ahead of Scannell, in this formation, with just 1 week to go.

    Scannell hasn't had a great deal of football in the last 6 to 8 months, perhaps GB is just working him in slowly and protecting him to ensure he's fit for next week?

    Have a listen to Bowyer's recent interview. His main objective for this game is avoiding injuries and getting more minutes into the players. The way he's set up today isn't nailed on for Cambridge.
