Of course there is no guarantee of anything in life. But if anybody goes into next season thinking we are going to slide out the league then I feel sorry for them.
There a lot of work to do but if we keep the defence that started yesterday minus A OConnor and possible a different keeper I think that would be a decent for that level
it will be needed in that league

I think we'll be trailing in the wake of no particular order..
FC Fylde
Orient
Scunthorpe
Walsall
Plymouth
Newport
I just don't see how Bowyer is going to assemble a team blazing away at the top of the league ? Although that is unacceptable. Those clubs have some sort of established squad of players. Bowyer will have 10-12 of this season's shower plus 12 he will pluck out of a hat?. Of the latter 12 football logic dictates that 6 of them will be mistakes and we might get 6 players who become key players. Then we have to go through the phase of trying to move on those from this season who continue to flounder. Then we have to move out the "mistakes" that Bowyer will inevitably make. It's a mess and in the end decent guy as Bowyer is I feel the" Bowyer era" will be a bit like the "Taylor era" you have to go through it to get to the next era before there will be progression.

I named six but there are others Exeter, Forest Green/Tranmere/Mansfield, Exeter ???
If we are in the play offs we will have failed in my view. But the task Bowyer has is enormous and he has to have us in shape in two months !

Don’t think anybody does but I think there are some grounds for optimism we have a manager has achieved just that and he has had weeks of planning for it. We have a decent budget apparently yes we have to move players on but I believe there will be scope to bring in the right players. Of course it’s football so there are no guarantees

Got a bit excited on Friday when Gary said his team selection might give a clue to his thinking for next season. When the team was actually announced, I thought we are taking up our rivalry with Morecambe.
Which other players would you have played yesterday as a pointer to next season. As I said earlier if we could keep yesterday’s defence with a replacement for A O’Connor and perhaps keeper and I think we would have a good defence

Dunno but in truth each year I pray we have a youngster or two that can be thrown a line to show what they can do. Every year we seem to be told that this years youngsters are the best we have had but none of them seem to get anywhere. Bearing in mind, we have just had the worst season ever I hoped that a wand could be waived and someone could actually do something. My real answer to Park,s question is, I haven't a clue as I just don't know if any of them are up to it. However, Gary's comments on Friday did give me a little hope so I felt let down when the team was announced.
