So, Salford will be joining us in League 2. They’ll be among the favourites I’d think. I reckon they’ll be in the championship within 5 years.

 

I’d settle for a plan for the now, never mind the future.

 

If this summer and next season are another shit show, I’m done. I don’t care how cheap the tickets are. We need to get our act together, sharpish.

I believe the powers that be know how the fans feel and were far from happy with last seasons efforts and will do all they can to get a team out who we can get behind.

 

Why not both, its not as if we don't need the money.
I like what Ive heard from Bowyer but he was limited with this squad, although I have to say watching the team yesterday Im hoping he will be a little more adventurous going forward, the movement off that ball made us very predictable never seen as many sideways/backwards balls played.

 

It wouldn't be at all surprising if such a thread suddenly appears...but I have some parsnip (and other veggie) seeds to plant, and grass to mow, before turning to stats-mongering. It's a rare sunny day over here today; must take advantage of it! I think your number should be about right though.

Just watching Salford v Eastleigh ...We couldn't compete with either of them ! The size of these players is unreal ? Probably only Mellor maybe Paudie with an earthly chance against any of them ? They would just batter us physically. Bowyer needs to take the players out of the top six of the NL they're the ones who will be hurting at losing their FL opportunity ! and ready to make an impression in League 2 which is really just another section of the NL.

 

I know he has not played much, but City have not lost a match that Calum Woods has played in!

 

Why do city fans think its our right as the biggest club in league 2 to go straight back up? We had the 4th biggest budget this season and came bottom. Its hard to be positive right now but look at Bury, MK Dons (they did keep the majority of there league 1 squad) going straight back up. It took us 5 long years to get out of league 2 the last time we was there, and they were long years. I remember the 0-0 against Dagenham at valley parade, I've seen better sunday league games. Lets first hope for a team that is proud to play for city and gives everything for the badge, then surely success will follow.

 

O'Brien was subbed so the fans could show their appreciation to him-well that's what GB said on the radio anyway.

 

I'm not sure anyone thinks we have a god given right to promotion at the first time of asking, but like Bowyer said, 'This feeling that I have doesn't sit right and I'm not having it again'.

 

Don't think it sits right with any manager when they get relegated. Just think some fans should keep it real as its gonna be a long hard slog in league 2

 

I've got money on Salford otherwise i'd want Fylde to go up. Can't stand the media love in with the class of 92.
