    It has its good points. The bcafc hashtag can be fun. The spaces done by City Vent a good listen but Twitter football is unforgiving.

    Of course anyone would welcome a top goalscorer like Telford. However if you look deeper and there is a risk before last season his record was poor he had a purple patch of 19 games where he ran riot and was poor after that. So of course we would be crowing about this signing but wether the signing works out or not we will see

    It wasn't aimed at you Kev, I should have put it in a separate post. We need goalscorers at the club and this lad has shown he knows how to put them away. If I'd had the choice between him and the other strikers we've just signed it would be Telford every day of the week for me.

    Honestly Park I'm 100% sure your reaction would have been different had we have signed him. It wasn't a player I thought we would sign but I would have been excited to see how the lad would progress if he had.

    His record certainly says he scored lots of goals last season. Apparently he didn’t “ talk” to any other clubs and it was a very fast deal. Strange IF that’s true?

    Look, you can’t say anything. If you had it your way bloody Bowyer would be still here.

    For the record I stand by Hughes no matter what happens this season. However, I can see he’s trying to build something here and I have no expectations of next season. I honestly don’t believe the club does also. Top 7 is a bonus.
