I think a shot saved percentage is far fairer for keepers, as results can easily be cost by out field players. Plus one keeper could have easier opposition.

 

Who says he is 2nd choice?. I've not heard the man that picks the team say this.

11 conceded

1.75 points per game
0.91 goals conceded per game.

Hornby:

16 games
24 points
18 conceded
1.5 points per game
1.13 goals conceded per game.

Shots saved or otherwise doesn’t confirm a keepers overall capabilities though. It’s one facet, however on that I agree.

Command of defence
Command of area
Communication
Distribution
Anticipation, (stay or go)
Positional
Ability to catch and come out for crosses
Shot saving

Not in any strict order but all of merit

It’s a balanced judgment for the manager and coaches to make

I honestly believe the pragmatist Adams will go for Hornsby for the Exeter game.

I was just thinking before you posted that R’ODs stats must be better, I wasn’t a fan of theirs but T & S prided themselves on basing football decisions on analytical statistics, so he was always likely to have better stats or they were just talking shite.

 

Don’t worry Kev someone’s already put the stats you were after up, you won’t like the results though.
