Its clear that JR has a massive decision to arrive at in the next 3-4 days ?. It will make and more likely break our season. Rhodes has some previous for making half decent decisions although hes made some absolute stinkers as well ! ..sacking Todd and consigning us to a near decade in the sink estate of League Football being one ! And being duped by Rahic n Rupp another !!. So I'm not too hopeful ?

I reckon hes got two decisions to make Doyle ? and the future of Bowyer and Dreary ? Get this wrong and he wont be forgiven because everyone will hark back to the now clear absolute howler he made in August to loan out Doyle and if he lets Bowyer and Dreary run with this to inevitible bitter end ?

As they say in Yorkshire "best get thee thinking cap on Julian lad" !

Rhodes needs to think about his own future at the club.

He has do his job now.

However, the club is still not moving forward in anyway off the pitch and allowing Doyle to go to Swindon highlights to me he isn't up to speed with modern day football.

The Doyle loan has made the club look extremely silly.

So, yes he needs to think about Bowyer, Doyle but he needs to think about his own future at the club too.

Ya all gonna be disappointed.... In play off spot, unbeaten in 5 (yeah I know) and it costs to get rid of a manager and employ a new one.

    Just can't see it happening.

Oh and does JR have the capacity to dismiss?

Gary Bowyer will take us up this season in the top 3.

    Just enjoy the ride.

He will not get the sack this season. Too many mitigating circumstances and hangover from the Rahic regime. The more importanty question is what will happen with the Doyle situation.

As an outsider I'm not sure there is much point bringing Doyle back (outside trying to stifle Swindon's goals) if Bowyer is still the manager. He has struggled for you as you have had managers who simply don't play in a style that suits him. So I would say the two decisions really are linked, if you can lineup a manager whose style is more akin to what Ritchie Wellens plays then replacing Bowyer and bringing Doyle back would be a good move. The question is who would that manager be, I'm assuming like alot of players who came through Man Utd under Fergie, Wellens has taken on a fair bit of Fergies style and mindset so you would want someone who also shares that style, mind you do you have the rest of the players who can play that way as no-point playing to Doyles strengths if he then gets no service as no-one else can.

It might actually be better for everyone seeing if Swindon will buy him and you can then use the money to shape the squad to fit how Bowyer or whoever you bring in wants to play rather than shaping it around a player

Rhodes won't do a thing. Bowyer will see out the season at the very least and it wouldn't surprise me if he's still here if we don't go up.

Always need a target, it was Drury yesterday for a while. As much as it was a tough watch yesterday, cheering players going off isn't going to add anything positive to the situation ( god i've come over all happy clapper). Don't like being at a game witnessing fans at each others throats.

Hopefully Rhodes is keeping his nose out of the decision regarding Doyle.

we complain about CEO/Owners making team decisions and now you want him to make the decision. They can not win

This is the real world scenario, Doyle will move to Swindon, we let him go in the first place for financial reasons which haven't changed. They will take on his wages and we get a token gesture which we will use to ruin some other poor unsuspecting lower league strikers reputation.

Almost perfect although we aren't signing a striker with any form of positive reputation let's be honest.

He’s not going to get rid. Looking at it objectively, we’re in 5th place in December. The only way Rhodes (in his eyes) would do something as drastic as sacking a manager, would be if we’re in serious danger of relegation to non-league.

    This!

People are not understanding how damaging the Doyle to Swindon is effecting the club and he has to come back.

Why would you loan one of your forwards to Bradford City or as a forward go there when you see Doyle smashing it at Swindon and Bradford can't score against a Carlisle?

Change the title.. is it time for Rhodes to leave?

    No!

Mr Rupp is nearly as bad as Edin and at this minute it seems like he doesn't want to take the club forward in anyway.

Rhodes makes extremely poor decisions. Giving Bowyer a 2 year contract, letting Doyle go to Swindon... and is he taking the club forward?

Bowyer... the man is killing the club. This league is dreadful but Bowyer's Boring football will have a massive effect on the club in terms of season tickets.

Drury .. should of been given the number 2. We should of paid him off.

So no mate! The club needs changes from top to bottom. The club is a shambles!

So you disagreed with sacking Colin Todd but want Bowyer out because his football is boring?

As they also say in Yorkshire, "hell fire".

It has already been done to death why Doyle was loaned out.

Doyle doesn't want to come back-who can blame him?

If Doyle does return then I suspect there will be very limited funds left in January to strengthen other areas of the squad.

I would happily leave him be and bring in another 2/3 players to bolster the squad to cover for injuries and suspensions.

Don't forget we have a few players coming back from injury shortly who would walk into the first 11.

And maybe even Tyrell Robinson as well? Who knows.
