In Bradford? Unfortunately not at the moment. A smattering of decent pub options on the outskirts might be worth a look.

Stansfield at Apperley Bridge used to be good. Haven't been for while though. Also Spotted Cow at Drighlington worth a shout, although I'm not sure if they do Sunday dinners or not. Quick check confirms that they do.... Booking essential though.

Like @millario@millario says you’ll need to venture out a bit.
Duke of York at Shelf is nice.
White Horse near Lightcliffe golf course is ok.
My daughter works at Wyke Lion.
It’s an Ego chain but it’s very nice and decent quality.

May have to book them though.

I went to Shimla Spice in Shipley last Wednesday. Had the desi Fish Karahi, medium strength. Very nice. It certainly wasn’t too hot. Reckon you just got unlucky.

Don't really do Sunday lunch - but a while ago we went to Fordes in Horsforth (also now in Ilkley), it was pretty good.

Sunday dinner at the Stone bridge Inn up in Durham. Highly recommended although take my opinion with a pinch of salt.

Went for lunch with a friend to Veeno in Leeds, a short walk from the station in Whitehall Place. An Italian place, it does the usual pizza and pasta but specialises in large sharing plates of cured meats and cheese etc.
We signed up for a special offer, where if you spend more than £35 on a bottle of wine you get a "Grande Board" for 2 for free.
The wine was very good, it is all from their family vineyard in Sicily. We had a bottle of Perricone which was excellent.
We ordered some more bread and asked for a small side salad in a feeble attempt at healthy eating.
It is all on one level with no steps so accessible.
Thought it was very good value and the food was lovely

    Home made paneer vindaloo.

if anyone wants the recipe let me know. Obviously you could use chicken or whatever you wanted, but this paneer one was great.

    Good, bad, indifferent?
It's the offshoot of Tharavadu. Not been yet but I've heard it has bit more of a club vibe with a DJ later in the evening. Do they still call them DJs?

I thought it was excellent - and not too badly priced.
There's a bar and rooftop area, but they are both well away from the dining area.
Drinks menu was a bit limited, but the food was superb.

Sound good. I've just looked at the menu. I thought it would be silly prices given the location but I think its cheaper than their other place. Looks a place to try.

Wasn't a big fan of Tharavadu on my one visit a couple of years ago. It was fine but nowt special.

That paneer from @Wakefield Bantam@Wakefield Bantam looks very decent.

You need to get out more :grinning:.

Joking apart I really like it. The chicken dosa and the fish curry I had last time were fantastic. I will say that sometimes the service is a but hit and miss. I think its very different to your standard Indian.

You'll be telling us next you like Bundobust next door.

    PS agree about Wakey's paneer
