No. Huge money spent with no players sold or made the first team regular at a cost of hundreds of thousands of pounds better spent on first team players

We already play in the under 19 northern league and the Young ones won the league last season. For older players we already play league teams behind closed doors on a regular basis

 

How about just 6 months ago. Sahil Bashir who has gone to Brighton and Subject to add ons could meet the club up to £250,000.

There's plenty more too, you are obviously just unaware of them.

He was at L**ds til he was 14. And he left Bradford for Swansea in 2015, so 7 years he's been gone

 

Was never in our youth set up. Went to Man U as a 6 year old....

 

We also had the young keeper who went to Leeds, them two probably paid for the academy for the next few years. We aren’t exactly a splash the cash sort of club, with the owners we’ve had of it was so costly it would have been scrapped years ago.

 

Think the cost is between one and two hundred thousand a year although we did have a lottery to help with the cost at one time.
The youth set up has s staff of eight coaches and performance staff so will not be cheap plus staging games and away travel although we have a sponsored mini bus for travel

 

The two players Monkey and myself mentioned have covered that and more.

 

I know the former, the latter is insufficient compared to requirement’s

No. Please name them. Remember the rules changed the other year and players can leave at 16 and the club only receive training compensation not a fee as such. The days of selling youngsters has been over since the contract break at 16 allowing them the choice to leave

 

I've just named one that was under 16 after you first asked this question that you've conveniently ignored.

Will have received training fees only as he was under 16. Any add ons will come later if qualified but we could receive nothing meanwhile we spend hundreds of thousands in the hope of another
Meanwhile we pay maybe 20 lads for 3 years and lucky if we get one player coming through to anywhere near first team football. We could spend the money better getting guaranteed first teamers
