Bonkers idea to even think it.

It took Wrexham about 14 years and a very wealthy Hollywood duo backing them to get back.

There is only one way we should be thinking of getting out of league 2 and its the opposite of down

Why hasn’t another team thought of this.

    Relegation
    Disinterested owner fu@ks off
    Immediate promotion

Can’t see any flaws in this plan at all.

The goals in some way didn’t matter, but the performance in the second half was 100% better. It was important for the players to show some guts. For me this season Halliday has been outstanding driving the team forward. He is actually working two positions RB and midfielder. Gillead comes a close second. They are fittest on the field.

You have to be having a laugh. Have you seen what happens to clubs who fall through the trap door? Scunthorpe, Oldham etc., Stop watching that Disney crap and wake up. It is bad enough being in this league, how much of a fan base would hang around?

What are you talking about!!! Look what relegation did for BPA and Bulls. Support drains away and left with nothing. The point is well made with Wrexham then look at such as Oldham, Hartlepool Aldershot all had millions put in but no guarantee of getting back and given the City of Bradford state of things I would fear the Club disappearance

Instant success!!! Really we are now into our 5th season of this league. Increasing the ST price will actually mean less money as fans are already fed up and will probably not renew. Our fans have been incredibly patient and I am beginning to think taken for granted.

You've answered your own question, you really shouldn't put fellow Bradford City fans down with stupid comments like that, every Bradford City fan I know and speak with are committed fans who attend games to support their club many liked myself over 65 years doing so, they also attend away games where they happily pay the going rate asked by the home club, please don't insult them with comments like above.

Time to put the prices up a little when we get promoted and we're getting 20,000 every week. Not when we're bottom half of League 2.

How many times do we have to reset? Nothing comes of this constant changing. Rupp and co need to get a grip the club is like an hamster on its wheel running but getting nowhere to the frustration of fans. There are some fundamental flaws in how Rupp and co have run this club - that manifest themselves on the field of play.

Whilst promotion is unlikely, we are as close to the playoffs as we are relegation. Come back with your mad theories when/ if we are in real danger of it being a reality. In the meantime, get behind Alexander and trust him to "dust down and go again", destroying and rebuilding over the next two windows to put us in contention for promotion in 24/25.

    Low prices = increased gates
Increased Gates = increased commercial activity
Increased commercial activity = more money to spend.

Increase the prices, you increase the revenue from those that still buy, but lose it from those that don't, you lose sponsorships because the audience is smaller, you decrease your share of the profit in the kiosks, you potentially decrease sales in the club physical and online shop.

Decreasing the size of audience potentially does nothing at all to increase revenue, even if the product costs more.

It goes totally against the rules of supply and demand that when price is lower demand is higher and vice versa and would be madness until we have a product that the same number of people will pay more to see.

It couldnt get any worse could it ????

I seriously hope our head coach isnt conned into like a fair few are on here.

It was a 12:30pm kickoff and thats when we should have started not when the games dead.

2 games into his reign and they produce that.
    Embarrasing

They probably looked better because Notts County simply knew the game was done and dusted ............. sorry if i dont share the views that the 2nd half is something to be hopefull the bigger picture is that WHEN IT MATTERED it was an absolute shambles.

I seriously hope that the powers that be look to shift out that shambles of a recruitment team out.
If they are there at the club come the next window we really are in bother.

    Nail on head

An utterly depressing season, and most definitely the most disappointing one too, given the false promises & hope given by Sparks & Co

My god. this almost made my eyes bleed.
With no money coming in from the premier league and a stadium that cost £8000+ per week to rent,
Reduced income from the turnstiles and corporate, we would be gone.
Non league is not for this club , they only way out is upwards, which looks a long way off under the ownership of Rupp, so for now we have to just maintain the status quo and hope that we achieve a miracle, either promotion or new owners who have a lot more interest.

But if the price of a season ticket goes up to the league average, and everyone renews, what’s to say that the increase in income heads to improving the squad?

But we're told we already have a competitive budget so what confidence would any of us have that additional revenue from season ticket sales would be put to good use? Assuming prices go up by £50 and 15000 renew (implausible I know) that's £750,000 extra in the manager's budget, but from everything we've seen over the last few years the money would be wasted on yet another has been player, or one who fails to live up to expectations. Your argument would be compelling if we were told we had a crap Morecambe like budget but that simply isn't the case.

Another post that sums up this season perfectly.

We are talking about other teams’ relegation six pointers and hoping teams at the bottom draw games so we don’t get sucked in to a relegation battle.

    It’s not even December.
