36 hours my bad , and that was 18 years ago at AE Turbines, but my point still stands good companies bring you in on reduced hours and build it up from there.
Bradford City's footballing backroom team will do exactly the same with Jake Reeves, if they can get him match fit for the Christmas fixture I don't think they will be too disappointed.

 

Reeves could still play a part for us especially if we
lose any loan midfielders in Jan or through injury or
suspension.

No doubt we will get a hint of what his future will be
if he plays for us again and makes a difference and
strengthens our options.After so long out they may
decide to move him on in Jan or just ease him through
to end of his contract.

He is a good player but I can't recall having a player
under contract who was injured for nearly two years.

 

For me we need to find out as you say can he perform and make us a better side, I'm sure Bowyer understands the situation, but being a lad from down South would he be happy to sign another contract if Bowyer was happy with his contribution and overall fitness, he's only 26, but first we need to see if he can get back to the Reeves of McCall's first season until his injury.

 

Didn’t think you could loan players for a month anymore. It also hampers city’s options in the January window if he is allowed to go out for 1 month then He can’t play for us and then move in January unless it’s to then same club he was loaned to. You can’t play for more than 2 clubs in a season.

He's been out for 20 months it's extremely unrealistic to think he will come back to anywhere near the standards he was straight away.

@Bronco saying give him 20 mins here and there is silly and like he doesn't know Bowyer. Bowyer hardly makes subs plus we have Devine, Anderson, McCartan and others that need minutes ahead of Reeves.

Send Reeves out on loan and let him get game time elsewhere. That's the sensible thing to do unless @Tennesseebantam is close to the truth on this matter because if not Bradford City will make out it's there issue which it's not. Reeves will need a run of games and we won't be able to give him that.

Until Reeves gives an exclusive on what has really happened over the last 20 months then the more I believe @Tennesseebantam is right.

Just don't get this obsession with Reeves. Why do people want to talk about him all the time? He's out for some reason and may or may not return. If he does, fine. If not, forget him. Just wait and see, and stop all the pointless speculation.

 

I know it's ridiculous isn't it? Posters speculating on an online Bradford City forum about the possible return of one of their players from long term injury? What is wrong with them? Don't they realise this is a fact based forum only???????

 

Sending on loan would be a mistake at this stage as he still needs some support, we need to organise behind doors friendlies maybe including the youth players to bring him game time and see how he responds, I suspect it is all about building up his confidence now more than anything so we need to keep him close.
