Can't be bothered reading through all this thread
In many firms it's written in a contract that sick pay/being unfit for work
Is paid for a limited period i.e. so many weeks at full pay then gradual decrease
over a set period of time before no entitlement is left
Had this been included in Jake Reeves contract maybe he would be more inclined
to regain his place
Be very interesting to see what he does once his contract with us expires

 

How do you know what is or isn't in his contract?

Lots of footballers have their own income protection insurance for this very reason.

 

at least he came back and played the odd game. I'm beginning to think Reeves doesn't actually exist we haven't seen him in that long.

 

Nova do something useful? no. he's too busy being painfully unfunny and trying to draw attention to himself.

Thats good for the club and he isnt a drain on our already stretched playing budget

1. Edin and his cohorts misdiagnose his injury

2. undergoes operation

3. sues club for misdiagnosis

4. everyone shuts up as it’s now gone legal

The whole situation is looking too contrived.

As I said, only a theory and if representatives of the club what to tell me I’m wrong then so be it.

Bowyer said last month he will not rush him due to him been out of action over 20+ months.

 

I think he's only threatened to sue. That would explain Bowyers charm offensive. Ever since he got here Bowyers clucked over him like a mother hen. Can't help thinking that Reeves and his lawyers have got us right where they want us.
