Whichever station gets to cover us next season could do a lot worse than
Mick Gledhill who commentates on the Bulls Pulse 2
No one could ever accuse him of being boring

 

Great post! Derm Tanner is freelance now. However he did commentate on our away game at Bristol Rovers late last season which was great to hear. He also had a second in command summariser called Jamie Raynor who was also very good.

Tim Steere I hope will get better. Listening to Andy Kiwomya is a cure for insomnia.

It has now been officially confirmed that Pulse will no longer provide match day commentary. In my opinion, a shame to be honest

 

Even if it wasn't your cup of tea at least there was choice. Radio Leeds will have a job servicing all three exclusively but good luck to them.

 

I don’t get some idiots mentalities tbh. People are celebrating on Twitter, just ignore it if you don’t like it what’s the harm at least there was more choice. Now people might have lost their jobs and we’re shoved on a crap frequency, all while getting to listen to the dull and monotone Radio Leeds commentators. Think I’ll just get my updates on Twitter and here if I’m not at the game.

 

It would appear yet another business having to cut it's cloth accordingly.
From the days of Pennine Radio with Tony Delahunty and sandwiched in-between Chris Cooper to Pulse Two commentary from Jason Thornton not to forget Stix in the mix(Big Ian Ormondroyd) it's been certainly memorable.

Does anyone know if iFollow has free radio commentary? Will be a bit difficult for me otherwise to catch radio commentaries, unless leeds have city matches on DAB/FM which looks unlikely.

 

It isn't free but there is radio commentary

 

Leeds matches often and occasionally Huddersfield are moved to lunchtime or Sunday kick offs, so we will be moved up to DAB or FM quite regularly. Then there is international breaks where again we will be on all frequencies. Tim Steere is actually a good commentator but agree about Kiwomya, they could do with Jacobs back who was outstanding as a summariser.

 

Occasionally if the others aren’t playing. We are most definitely in third place. Not sure why, in the interests of fairness they should rotate, we all pay our license fee no matter which team we support. The medium wave or whatever they call it now is defiantly third rate.

This is one for the techno boys; is the Freeview channel 714? Going out on the same frequency as DAB? If not why can’t they allocate us that channel?

Why would Bradford City not benefit?

Had my run in's with Thornton but I hope him and team on there are ok as I said the other day. Even if you didn't rate him, he is a Bradford City fan and we are a family.. we care and look after our fellow Bantams!
