At my local shop in Wrose I used to wait at least 20 mins for the "Pink Un" to arrive and had to skip quickly passed how well our friends from Beeston were doing to get to the match report on our latest away day. Nowadays there is total uproar if the Internet drops for 10 mins !!!
I also remember the T&A seller in the Kop with his famous
"Racing and Half Time Scores" sales pitch, boy was he ribbed mercilessly
No memories will be created from a quick glimpse at a mobile device am afraid

 

Even if it wasn't your cup of tea at least there was choice. Radio Leeds will have a job servicing all three exclusively but good luck to them.

 

It would appear yet another business having to cut it's cloth accordingly.
From the days of Pennine Radio with Tony Delahunty and sandwiched in-between Chris Cooper to Pulse Two commentary from Jason Thornton not to forget Stix in the mix(Big Ian Ormondroyd) it's been certainly memorable.

Why would Bradford City not benefit?

Had my run in's with Thornton but I hope him and team on there are ok as I said the other day. Even if you didn't rate him, he is a Bradford City fan and we are a family.. we care and look after our fellow Bantams!

 

It was good to have the choice. Pulse concentrating wholly on City, with good interviews and banter. The beeb more formal but with 5 or 10 minute segments on our nearest and dearest.

I’d like to see a Bradford City TV station set up. Wouldn’t have to be 24/7 but maybe a few hours a week to keep the fans updated. Lots of clubs have them and maybe it’s time we had more media focussed outlook. Hopefully the recent off field appointments might address this.

 

Bingley Bantams do a weekly radio show.. I know they're looking at trying to get club interviews and things like that going

I thought the radio coverage was bang on today.

I particularly enjoyed the supporters phone in after, and especially the caller who questioned Andy on why he said Richards-Everton was good. It brought out a good debate between commentators deliberate overly positive bias and the realistic view of fans in the stands.

 

Whilst he was right to challenge the clueless Kiwomya, “Chris” also talked utter shite. He said we were poor (which I can’t disagree with), but he then had a pop at O’Donnell, despite him doing absolutely nothing wrong

 

Great, no 5 minute inane ad breaks....

 

Kiwomya Is rubbish what I don’t like is they keep going to either Leeds or Huddersfield prior and after the match, if I’m listening to CITY then keep it to CITY. Not interested what their fans have to say.
Unfortunately I have tune in as I don’t get to most games.

 

As long as iFollow exists in its current form, Leeds won't be able to broadcast via their app or website.

 

Doesnt necessarily mean that Pulse still not covering though.
The exclusive rights covering all 3 West Yorkshire teams is no different to before.
