That's how it gets reported. When routine traffic stops are aggressive with guns drawn on people. People get shot and the police file in the report that they shot the gun because the person was aggressive. That's an example.

I mentioned "poor" as it is people with a less income of poverty, To use poverty is a stupid comparison because the accepted term for "Poverty" is someone on less than 50% of the average income for a country, In the UK the average income is £35,000 per year and Poverty is measured as anyone not achieving 50% of this figure or £17,500 a year, It is ludicrous to then say that crime is the result of earning less than £17,500 per year,
With the minimum wage and social benefits very few people live in absolute poverty but some are poor compared to this or are destitute
