Difference is, @Storck, you've gone as far as reporting someone for what is a perfectly valid opinion. This in essence is trying to remove somebody's free speech. You can't have it all your own way.

 

I am in no way calling you a racist but I think your turn of phrase was regrettable because unless you have walked in someone else’s shoes you can’t know what he feels

 

Really balanced. In these discussions people seem to leap to extremes on either side of the argument. I agree with all this but it also grates me when people deny that racism is a problem. Just look at social media. I also think a lot of people dismiss these matters too easily by using the tired old 'pc brigade gone mad / cant say anything these days etc' I'm not sure a lot of people do enough to put themselves in the shoes of black people. Having said that although I agree with Danny Rose I also take issue with the above.

 

Probably sexist too. All in all it's a pretty despicable thing to say.

The older generation like myself were brought up in the age of television programmes like love thy Neighbours and the Black and white minstrel show. And racist and derogatory terms were common place changing thinking is hard places like Montenegro are at about that time in thinking.

 

How the hell would anybody know who you are, Or give that much of a shite, to go through the time and effort to find out?

 

Oh have a day off will you? If you’re that bothered about it, change your forum name so it’s less obvious who you are. What evidence do you have that anybody, Storck or any other member on here, is cyberstalking you? What makes you think you’re so great that anybody wants to do that in any case? Frankly the way you’re going on now makes you look terrible in my eyes. Let it drop.

 

Sometimes life is taken far to seriously, I only tried to add a bit of humour to the post, although I take racism very serious.

 

Maybe this thread needs locking.

The refreshing morph from Claret and banter is that threads aren't locked or deleted every 2 minutes. Just let it run its course.

 

When someone's livelihood is involved that is taking things to far.

 

I'm sure Danny Rose has enough money not to have to worry about it.
