Fine, right off the bat get the feelers out for a jim o brien type in midfield and a marcel seip in defence. solid pros to come in do a job, raise standards and kick some of the other guys arses a bit. He's already said he won't look at free agents so that's one thing he 100% has not tried.

 

Clarke, Evans and Novak owe McCall big time in my opinion. In addition to signing them and providing the opportunity for game time he has bigged them up big style in terms of the impact of their missing contribution. Much inflated and greater than it is ever likely to be in my opinion. It may be a convenient excuse for Stuart, but all 3 are experienced pro's and need to deliver on their return to the side.

Clarke has been decent this season, Novak was doing reasonably well as well.

Evans has shown nothing, looks an abstract piece of a puzzle I'm not sure exists.

Gareth Evans was here last time we were absolutely awful under Stuart - what strange book ends to an otherwise good career...
