It is not about McCall it's about the owner Stefan Rupp, as you say we were promised change at the club boy have we had change McCall, Grayson, Collins, Hopkin, Bowyer and McCall again not one could stop the rot, this is about more than the manager, one man and like it or not it is our owner.

When @PlatinumChaosX turns against the manager you know it is time to change and I agree.

I’m going to stop driving round the country twice a week watching games and scouting players.Doing in depth research about our opponents.Putting together a cohesive transfer policy and setting up a half decent youth system
I didn’t know this was my job until the after match comments by McCall today but apparently that’s the fans job now.
Well I’m not doing it anymore.

remember all the soundbites that came out which were quickly countered in the next press release from the club? "nobody is paying fees" when we released Vaughan to Tranmere and we paid fees for Watt. "there aren't the players available" whilst everyone else was signing players around us. "there's plenty of money in the budget" and a few days later "it's hard to work in the budget." they've made their own beds and attracted criticism from their poor planning. that lays at everyone's door but when it comes to what happens on the pitch - that's McCall - and he is not good enough for not only what we want, but what we need at this football club right now.

Club doesn’t care what fans think...until it comes to season ticket renewal time.
Club is sleep walking into non league. Ryan Sparks out of his depth, an uninterested owner who is only interested in getting his brass back (good luck with that.) think we are past protests the club is beyond repair.bantam2708, Hulmebantam, Manningham bantam and 1 other person like this. -

Yes I do understand the point of ‘could anyone else do better with these players’ and nobody knows if they could.. I personally think there is more chance that they could though than persisting with the current regime. It’s fine blaming the players (I’d ship every single one out) but this defence performed considerably better under Bowyer, you have Carlisle fans stating that we are utilising Watt in completely the wrong position. Yes we are struggling with injuries but I honestly think some different ideas, better organisation and things could improve.
It is madness to simply just close your eyes and hope for the best.. If January is to be our saviour, just what has McCall done in his managerial career to give you such confidence that he will turn it around?Ponty City, Rcbantam, Mason Handshake and 1 other person like this. -
The sport scientists said that a lack of a proper preseason after being away from playing for so long would lead to more injuries. Even without injuries, there's no way that the same 11-13 players could continually perform at their best across even half a season without being rested occasionally.
I get the distinct impression that this season's playing budget has been significantly reduced. McCall has protected his bosses from criticism by arguing that this was a squad that he was happy with. But by doing so he's built a rod for his own back.
They're now going to have to spend a significant sum, wisely, to save the club from absolute oblivion. From previous transfer window activity, it's easy to see why many aren't brimming over with confidence. They could have probably spent less in the summer and we wouldn't have now been in such dire straits. But like pretty much everything else that's happened since Rupp's arrival, it's amateur hour at the big top, the club pinballs from one disaster to the next. Fighting fires rather than putting in measures to prevent fires from starting.Fordy117, Rcbantam, vladimir and 1 other person like this. -
But when players like James Vaughan are replaced by the likes of Lee Novak. I bet that there's a considerable difference in yearly salary between the two.
The club may have taken a hit in the amount of season tickets sold post relegation from League One. But there's no denying that the quality of the players have decreased season after season since the loss at Wembley. They're not underperforming because they're a bunch of quality players that can't perform as a team. They're down where they are in the league on merit, because they're objectively the poorest City team in a very long time.
The club informed us that whilst things aren't great financially, we're not one of the club's that could struggle to finish the season without supporters being allowed to attend. So something doesn't quite add up to me.
I could understand such a poor City team if the club was absolutely on its uppers and what we saw on the pitch plus the size and consistency of the squad was all we could afford. It just doesn't make complete sense if everything we've been told is totally honest and accurate. If they went out and tried to create a squad that would struggle this season by design, I don't think they could've done much better.bantam2708, Bronco, brisbanebantams and 1 other person like this. -

@Rcbantam will have his clipboard to hand to direct you where to stand and how long you can protest for.
Face coverings must be worn and you must stand at least 6 ft from the nearest person. Just watch us defending to get an idea of what that looks like.
@Fordy117 will be cleaning cars/Vans /SUVs with his mobile valet service. Special prices for the day will be announced nearer the time.

I cannot see any manager getting a tune out of the current available players so sacking Stuart just doesn't make any sense right now.
The Jan transfer window will give us all a clear indication of whether we are likely to stop up or not.
As for Ryan as CEO-well let's see what happens in January as that will be the acid test.
We cannot defend for 90 mins and we cannot score-a terrible combination and one that MUST be the priority in January.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Budgie, Craven Koppite and Bronco like this. -
Almost as big a mess up as having to be informed of the implications of the clauses by a charlatan such as Archive Christie. That happened though.
I don't mind giving credit where its due but there is no way that deal should ever have gone through without a sell on clause. Including one was standard, not something creditworthy.Interested Bystander, Rogered Tart and Mason Handshake like this. -
