It is not about McCall it's about the owner Stefan Rupp, as you say we were promised change at the club boy have we had change McCall, Grayson, Collins, Hopkin, Bowyer and McCall again not one could stop the rot, this is about more than the manager, one man and like it or not it is our owner.

 

The club have our money for the present season so home games are covered with regards cost, there was an article in the T&A the other week saying the take up of away Ifollow passes was disappointing with regards our fan base so that would suggest fans are not buying Ifollow passes for away games.

Apart from not buying club merchandise there is little else we can do at the present moment.

I received this comment from someone who was at yesterdays game, I'm not sure if Stefan is aware with regards what a football team means to the majority of football fans.

I saw Charlie Murgatroyd at the game yesterday. He got a taxi to stand outside the ground to be near the stadium. He was outside when I left and nearly in tears.

I’m not trying to be argumentative but I am struggling to understand why some do not believe that sacking Stuart would not make any difference.

Yes I do understand the point of ‘could anyone else do better with these players’ and nobody knows if they could.. I personally think there is more chance that they could though than persisting with the current regime. It’s fine blaming the players (I’d ship every single one out) but this defence performed considerably better under Bowyer, you have Carlisle fans stating that we are utilising Watt in completely the wrong position. Yes we are struggling with injuries but I honestly think some different ideas, better organisation and things could improve.

It is madness to simply just close your eyes and hope for the best.. If January is to be our saviour, just what has McCall done in his managerial career to give you such confidence that he will turn it around?

 

Mccall has already said his main plan is basically hoping players that come back make us stronger. I want someone in that is going to be proactive and not reactive

 

Just heard on the grapevine that the owner of Billy's chippy in Brighouse trying to buy the club. Sounds a bit fishy to me and someone with a chip on their shoulder is spreading this rumour if I find out who it is they'll get battered.

 

Mr Rupp should sit down and watch the "Matter of Heart" video some of his comments make him look a complete fool
He may then fully understand how much this club has declined under his stewardship in EVERY way
The decline from being Championship contenders to non league probables is horrendous

Rupp doesn’t give a sh!t and doesn’t have a clue. He’s rich enough to right off the £5m so as long as the club isn’t costing him anymore he doesn’t care (fairly sure he was confident or advised to be confident of McBurnie money before putting more in)
He’s deluded enough to to want his money back as he’s well off enough to be stubborn. we all know he was misadvised and mislead by Edin can we say the same isn’t happening from Junior and Junior Junior?

I get what you are saying and there is merit in it.

I don't know about you but I don't see the players giving up on Stuart, it's just that collectively they are not good enough. I recall Stuart shouting to BRE yesterday to go to a more attacking position in the box when we had a corner. Why does BRE really need to be told that? Because he is not intelligent enough to work it out for himself. DMH the same.

When Paul Caddis arrived you could see the difference in a player who used his noggin. We need at least 4 of those right now.

 

Don't talk like the CEO is not involved in any signings. Of course he will be. I expect him to be involved and hopefully setting a positive tone with the players we will be bringing in.

 

He said they would strengthen the team and that is evidently true based on yesterdays performance. While they are returning what proactive actions should SM take to ensure we stop the rot, ones that he hasn't tried already?
