    You do realise the saying that 'The crowd is the 12th man' isn't just plucked from thin air right? Players feed on the energy and it can be the difference in a sport where its often about small margins. When there is tension in the ground and your striker is in on goal he is already going to be tight because of the poor run of form but the atmosphere is likely to ramp that up more.

    That was my point I think (although it may not have been and should have been) we are a microcosm on here where views by the nature of us all wanting click bait (whether we admit it or not) so we will be the more extreme of the city following so here wouldn't give a fair representation of 'normal' city fans
