Yes but you are not taking into account each clubs difference and reactions. Plus your facts are subjective unless a piece of research has been done.

I tell you what I find embarrassing shall I and classless. Is our manager on his way to Gillingham with 3 lads under the age of 18 so still at school to be available to play with a team that has no confidence. Well don Rahic brilliant stuff, but we won’t protest because Man United fans think it is classless.

Bradford City are a million miles away from your lot being a "bit upset" because you finished in the top 6 teams in the country.

Would that be the prawn sandwich brigade who feel it lacks class? Or the thousands of tourists at the match who are just happy, understandably, to be taking in a match at Old Trafford.

I don't know a Man U fan that is happy about how the club operates, and has operated, in the last few years.

The difference, I feel, is that the threat to our club now is potentially existential as opposed to not challenging the noisy neighbours.

 

Our situation is nothing like MU , i dont get the reference at all , what alternative do you suggest ?, how about all join hands and march into oblivion ?, what started has a minority is gaining a ground swell . With regards distraction the atmosphere inside VP is toxic , the vast majority is against the board but will eventually turn against the team . The rows and rows of empty pre-paid seats at VP is the biggest clue at what fans think . If /when we are relegated this season is that when the protest's should start , when we end up with less than 8k matchdays do we start then ? . The clubs demise is on the cards we go down i can see us in administration or even worse , appeasement solves nothing .

Social media probably doesn't touch a good proportion of our fanbase, but if things don't improve on the pitch then stuff like the flyby will engage fans.

 

In all honesty I'd rather see 15k supporting g the team no matter where we are in the league

 

A) "draws attention away from the game"? Currently, I'll have as much of that as I can get.

B) "kills the atmosphere" ? is that the atmosphere that's already on life support?

 

I suppose the question is all about awareness. How many City fans use Twitter? I’d wager not that many. It’s doing ok on Twitter to say it’s only 24hrs old and the Facebook page only went live earlier today. I’d hope that as the weeks pass and the page is retweeted and the Facebook page shared and followed that more people will become aware that the group is alive and kicking. Only time will tell.

 

My thoughts exactly. Anybody who thinks that ER would be influenced by a lower match day attendance is dillusional. This could only have a detrimental affect on the welfare of BCFC. Both on a team moral perspective and a financial aspect. Making ones feelings felt through banners, flyovers & protests etc is acceptable but lets not destroy the very fabric of this great club, even if others seem hell bent on doing so.

 

Its not about results, its about the owners.

 

I don't think a flyby is classless, the wording of any message holds that trophy. This is where we need to tread carefully.
