It was also rumoured she (Naz Shah)put pressure on the labour leadership for the sacking of sarah champion front bench for speaking out about the grooming gangs.

 

Worrying if true for the New Labour leader, there would be few on the opposition front bench with more knowledge about grooming gangs than Sarah Champion MP for Rotherham, apart of course from Naz Shah.

 

You have to wonder when a poster like @Offcomedun is questioning Starmers decision, the one thing you do need in opposition is a strong front bench that knows their portfolio and no skeletons in the closet to get brought up in the future.

 

She is a Racist -anti-semetic hypocrite . Labour haven't changed , they've just put a different " patsy in a suit " up front . The disgraceful attack on Pritti Patel proves this point . David Lammy - Diane Abbott have over the last few years played the " i've been racially abused card " these are the same signitures on the letter sent by Naz Shah . Nobody wil convince me that this letter would have not been approved by Starmer before being sent .

 

Starmer is lightweight, Well Educated, Well presented, Knows the issues of the day, But his delivery is woeful and even boring and easily brushed off or even ignored, He has no charisma or humour the two major weapons of a successful leader. He has a lot of media training to do to win people over

 

I don't care for naz shah at all but patel is basically just the rights diane abbott. completely clueless and inept

 

I would rather my leaders know about the issues of the day than have a sense of humour. its governing the country not stand up comedy

A lot of politics is like stand up comedy especially in parliament where the public get to watch and judge thier politicians on TV, It is often not as much the subject that gets the attention it is the delivery, In a media world it is essential that a leader has the tools to attack the opposition with effect, At the moment Starmer lacks that ability,

The public gets what the public wants even though few understand the workings of democracy and politics, We live in a media world and as such you either adapt or are irrelevant.
BTW the Civil Service who are untouchable and permanent run the country, Politicians are a temporary but necessary nuisance to them
