Let's just say not hiding fact only knows few players names

 

Played some nice stuff at times so far. Better approach play than what we saw for pretty much all of last season. Some sloppiness at the back, but good pressing when we lose it. Better than I expected so far.

 

Really impressed with the passing from defence and the pressing. Huge confidence.

Never seen Staunton play but he's been great on the ball since the goal. Carrying it well and confident passing.

Guthrie and novak are combining well

I'm watching snippets while working. First thought, DMH seems much more confident and lively than last season. AOC seems to be getting forward on the ball more. It was better than I expected

 

Decent first half, both teams playing it on the deck. Poor mistake for the goal but it’s pre season and he’s a young lad. Imagine it will be a different 11 for Town straight after half time.

 

Nice pressing and some decent crosses. Nothing has really happened since the first 10 minutes but we look disciplined and organised.
Huddersfield are very very poor.

 

Good half that... Staunton not going to be the answer at LCB but really good on the ball (bar a couple of sloppy mistakes) - Anthony O'Connor looks ideal at RCB. Think we do need more pace in the team but some great build up play - not sure how strong their team was but promising so far

 

I hope Reece gets some games this season. We need to see if he can make the step up.

 

Why on earth are City in their away kit when Town play in blue and white stripes, bizarre.

 

Thought Novak loses the ball a lot for an experienced target man.

 

Really like the system too but will need a proper RB in case we need to switch it up through the season

 

Huddersfield movement is quicker than Citys,they look more dangerous on attack,but City doing ok,Cooke looks a class above some of them.

Very promising half. Created numerous good chances and generally defended well. Guthrie looking decent and Cooke is at the centre of everything. Nice to see we aren't scared of playing a championship club and are pressing high and having lots of the ball.

Town are shocking.

 

Pritchard, Cooke and Watt quietly having really good games, think they'll have the better of most midfields at our level

 

Guthrie and Novak with Donaldson to come on....we really need someone in with any pace and mobility
