When they go on general sale you can buy tickets in the away end from their website. Away fans will be in the North Stand

 

The Kop? They never normally let away fans in Kop

 

Think he's referring to York city's North stand, but my initial thought was the kop

 

Yes it seems you can buy away tickets from York City at £12 adults £8 everyone else from 10am tomorrow.

 

I was talking about the York game not the Derby game

 

RE: Derby - they have all but sold their away allocation of just under 1,200. Home ticket sales are good, too.

 

Never mind how many fans how many players are they bringing..?

 

They have enough senior players registered to make the friendly worth their while, but the match day squad is likely to be topped up with a number of academy players.

I imagine they’ll be further incomings before Saturday, too.

 

They brought in 3 players last week and are reportedly close to signing Connor Hourihane as well as 2 loan player from Brighton which if they come in will take their squad to 13 with 3 out of contract players in discussions who they may decide to play as a trialist if they've not got them over the line.

 

What size coat do you wear out of interest?

 

I'm sure they'll have trialists too, who they've not been able to offer a deal to yet.

 

I just got 2 for the kop this lunchtime. Ticket office lad said we were approaching 1000 . Are we going to be out numbered for a home friendly.
I was not going , but change of plans by her indoors has freed me up this Saturday.

 

I think there will be a few people planning on attending that have either not got round to buying the ticket yet like myself or they are expecting it to be pay on the gate.

 

Why have it all ticket then , if they are going to change to pay on the gate. its a pre season friendly against Derby not Real Madrid. Could have saved my lunchtime trip down.

 

Just buy a ticket online and get a barcode to enter the ground sent to your e-mail.

 

Fortunately I have downloaded the bar code but what about the loads of people who are not tech savvy and don’t have smart phones or iPads how do they sttend

 

sorry, I wasn't meaning it will be changed to pay on the gate, I meant people will be wrongly thinking or assuming there will be pay on the gate as that is what people were used to pre-covid.
A number of reason why they've probably made all games all-ticket. No cash so it stops the chances of money going missing, it makes more people commit upfront, shortens the queue time to get in, makes it easier to notice people buying a ticket for the wrong price, means there aren't any issues about people complaining not getting loyalty points, means they can track who comes to match which is great data for the marketing department.
