Pre-Season 2022/23

According to their website they have 305 left to sell, not sure how many City made available though

 

They may but I guess Makems will bring more, they were taking 2k to Harrogate last pre season until they had to play closed doors due to safety issues.
Next season I can see Mansfield repeating their 2k plus but not too sure about anyone else bringing that many.

 

Grimsby and Stockport

 

Grimsby will, they usually travel well and I would have thought Doncaster would with it being the opening fixture.

As for the rest, as always it will depend how well the team is doing and how big the game is for them.

 

Agree with Grimsby as a possible but not sure about Stockport even though they averaged 7K at home, give or take. With them a return to L2 may be a selling point. As for Donny, I understand they have asked for only 600 tickets and suspect they may not sell them all. I think there is a lot of disenchantment there after relegation. There is of course always the Salford Massif who will bring 50-100!.

 

That's disappointing news about the Donny fans, I was hoping for a bumper crowd. Its only early days though, perhaps interest will rise as the opening day draws closer.

 

It will wholly depend on how they are faring with teams like County etc. If teams like Donny only bring 600-1000 , where they are literally down the road, it would be extremely poor.

 

Last time we played Donny was our relegation season, it was a big game for them to take them towards securing top 6 and they only brought around 800 with only a few games remaining. I’ve never seen them as a well followed team, Rotherham travel far better. As for their home matches, it’s more like a library than a football match.

 

Their pre season has games against Hudders and Rotherham, the rest are lower tier. Armthorpe Welfare yesterday, Miller scores in 2-0 win, then teams like Nuneaton and F.C United. Interesting piece on their website about finances. They have total losses / debts of over £30 mil although small profit last year. The anaylist who did the work suggesting they are being bailed out by the owners all the time.
At least we'ev two good standard League clubs and two NL clubs but of course it all means nothing really.

York are selling tickets for the City game from Weds.Does anybody know if City will be selling tickets,or do we have to get them from York.Don't know if there will be segregation for this game,I think York are expecting a good crowd.

 

I asked the club a week ago and they hadn't had any info from York.
Presume it's POTD.

 

Can you pay on the gate for Derby match
