They will be cancelled otherwise Rupp would have to show up and then face the fans. Like the players he will bottle it. So they will be cancelled as suggested by the OP.

I'd say it would be an insult to the majority of fans if they had a POTY awards. But if they did, only Halliday is worthy

 

Gilliead has had a good season, but after him and Halliday there are no other contenders

 

Gillead has run around a lot, again. And put 100% effort in, again. But yet again is completely ineffective in terms of actual contributions.

I do like AG, simply because of his work rate and like I've mentioned before, I'd see how he does at right wing back because potentially he could be better that Halliday there but as a central midfielder, surely his time is now up.

Really? Gillead is absolutely miles away from every being a championship standard player and even in league two he's nothing more than average.

If he was truly any good he wouldn't have been shuffled around so much and ended up as a "utility player".

 

He seems like a good lad and never gives less than 100% but when a utility player is one of the first names on the team sheet week in week out, there's a problem.

Him and Smallwood have never worked and yet we continue to crowbar them together in the middle regardless of the formation.

The midfield was a huge issue 18 months ago, it's still a huge issue now and will continue to be an issue until at least one, and probably both players are replaced and we end up with a cohesive unit in there.

Look how deep both were last night in that forest half against FGR? They had 11 constantly being the ball and we still had two midfielders reluctant to cross the half way line.

Ridehalgh was more dangerous from an attacking point of view that the both of them and he was playing centre half!

 

The club end of season dinner will be held at Cedar Court on Tuesday 23rd April.

It would have been more appropriate to hold it on Wednesday 13th March. That was the end of the season.
