You have got to laugh at blaming Chicksen for McGowan not tackling their player who crossed for the unmarked Evans to smash the ball in.
As for taking one for the team he did twice in the second half. The first was needed but the second was probably not.

 

I think he is trying to give Wood a rest, he has played a lot of football. He is frustrating is Chicksen, he is not crap all of the time and does make lots of mistakes.

 

I don't know how McGowan is getting away from most critism, he was at fault for the first two goals against Coventry In my opinion and the goal today.

He should be the first out the door in January.

 

Never really looked like scoring aside from O'Connor's header that should have gone in rather than straight at their keeper and Akpan who should have scored at the end. Indeed an independent person might have said we creates more than them and even you say we deserved a draw.

 

We'll have to agree to disagree. Chicksen is a woeful footballer and just as bad as Brunker imo.

 

We need a right back. He's not a right back and if he's not good enough for centre back then he should sit on the bench.

If he was an actual RB I would agree. But he's a centre half so I'll judge him when he plays there.

Yes. Right in the first minute. O'Connors header was saved - allbeit easily. He scrambled a couple of crosses away. Did ours do more? Doubtful.

Not a lot in the teams today, surprisingly. Unfortunately, our strikers are very poor, and just don't look like scoring. I don't tbink the strikers have got a goal between them at home this season?, which is astonishing.
Pompey were very average and hardly troubled O'Donnell, unfortunately, they took their only meaningful Chance to consign us to yet another defeat.

I have already resigned myself to watching league 2 football next season. January window will be far too late to save us
