To be honest this game isn't about Drury nothing changes for him Win Lose or Draw ? If we win then it doesn't make him anyway more the next City Manager ?. But if we do win then A LOT ! changes for us so we have to set aside the total ineptitude of all that exists at VP and try some way to come up with something ? Will the players turn in a siege mentality type performance? Have they got anything about them? They are out of form tbf are Pompey, they are not unbeatable. Probably be just another crap away loss though. Hopeless.

Before today I'd of said drop NKP but if what O'Connor did was true I'd ship him out and play Paudie. I'd probably bring Mellor back into midfield alongside Akpan. Clarke would have to miss out for me as Miller is our only other striker. What the hells happening with Woods?

I'm expecting nothing from todays game .............. other than yet another defeat. An' I care not if it's just a 1 - 0 loss - A defeat is a defeat... Drury can talk the players up all he wants, but if the general gut feeling in the camp is 'I can't be arsed' - Then what changes ?

I'm mixing threads ....... I know - But the next Manager needs to be a younger, and more appreciative model.
The game has changed. And as @Fordy117 has openly stated - It all boils down to Man Management. No egos, no tantrums. Younger Managers can see it's not about 'attacking' issues, but 'addressing' them. The same arena, but a different mindset.

I'm still sticking with my prediction of Pompey 2 - 1 City. No matter how hard we try.
