For myself, I'll continue hoping for a surprise away win -- after all, that's what we do -- but fearing a thumping -- because after all, that's also what we do.

I'm happy with Caddis getting the Captain's armband, and despite my lack of enthusiasm for some of the frozen-out players, I think it is best to bring them back into the mainstream and see if they can make something of themselves -- not, mind you, to put them right into the starting line-up, but into the squad and subs bench at least.

I appreciate what you mean, but it's not the right thing for a caretaker manager to say based upon the dross we've served up all season.

 

It would be meltdown of nuclear proportions.I'd like to see it, but less than NOT losing 3 on the bounce and NOT having Evans anywhere near our club!

 

Relax, it's just a positive spin on things. You could say that it's showing a bit of fight or resolve. No need to hang the guy for having a positive attitude.

 

I am relaxed. It's not a positive attitude though is it? It's setting yourself up for failure. He could of said we aren't relegated yet and there's points to be played for, come the end of the season and we get relegated it looks completely stupid.

It's not as if it takes a degree in PR to figure out it's not the best thing to say.

A score draw would be great, a win would be superb but sadly it'll be a comfortable home win.

How many will go down you reckon? Going to grounds like Fratton Park may not happen for a long time after this season so hopefully a few make a weekend of it and we take 500+.
