Think he played there for Fleetwood, now we have even more midfielders it might be worth a try. Only trouble is he’s better out wide than Clarke and Butterfield I would guess, and we’re already painfully short out wide.

Jury is well and truly out on Scannell but he is good for morale in the treatment room

Just finished a 12 hour shift, so just picked up on this comment.
Respect you have the right to comment but I'm not sure why you have took the tone you have. As yourself, I have an opinion. Right or wrong, it's an opinion.
I like to look at form and statistics. Based on those stats posted prior, I fancy an away win, one which will widen the trapdoor, increasing our chance of relegation. I'm somebody whom uses stats, just my style. I've used em before and will continue.
It's not negative and I don't want the club to fail nor be relegated. A huge assumption on your part.
As for being negative,, really? If I think something is bad Imo, I will post so but vice versa.

Thats fair enough mate. thanks for the explanation.
To get involved in the debate just a tad - I respect your opinion, but I'm not sure I agree - I don't think anyone that takes the time to register and post on here, and pays money to go to VP to watch games, buys replica shirts etc etc would want us to lose, or get relegated to 'prove their point' I think they are just passionate City fans and desperately want to see the team improve, and are as sad as anyone with the current situation.
and, on the other hand, if someone continues to find positives to everything even when its difficult to see what is positive at the minute it makes it look like that person would happily see the club playing in the National League North aslong as it meant they could still go to VP to watch.Bronco likes this. -

Just back from a splendid week in ‘Tin a Beef’ so feeling all refreshed and positive today, play Doyle and Clarke up top and I think we can edge it 3-2

"they were unable to take anything from their home match against Fleetwood last Saturday. After disappointingly losing 0-1 on that occasion, Stuart McCall’s men will be looking to do better."

But I suppose we could agree that NKP, who came in with Stuart and thus could be described as one of his men, could do better!
