yep because you seemed to moan about players having to do it and being forced into it

They were, and our national team are in Qatar, would you kneel for anybody or any cause ?, doubt it ......

 

so who made the one player do it but not the others?
And who is making the England team ?

Looks like FIFA have brought in a new rule overnight if players wear the multi coloured arm bands they could be booked, where as up to last night it might carry a fine, are this new lot any different to Blatter & Co not fit for purpose.
By all means take the knee but if you do anything to inflame the Qataries it will not be tolerated.

 

Which goes to show, all these gestures make no difference because when push comes to shove, the players will choose the option of just playing the game. They're in a hugely difficult position which I understand and it wasn't their call to have a winter world cup in Qatar. But... if you want to use the platform you have to drive social change, you have to be willing to see it through when your bluff is called.

 

How is that bear hug on Maguire not a penalty, don't they have VAR in the World Cup ?.

 

It'll interesting to see which countries favour VAR in this tournament.

 

Im saying it now, the decisions already in 2 games so far by VAR, raise serious questions. And whether the beneficiaries just happen to be 2 Arabic countries....

 

Incredibly Iran get a much softer penalty. If thats a penalty there would be 10 a game in a typical league 2 game.
