None really. Would have been Ridehalgh early season which says plenty as he’s a LB. He was reliable.

however, Foulds has made position his own lately so he wont even get back in, let alone be POY.

Cook will prob get it (despite being so frustrating at times, isolated in the set up so often). Or maybe Paudie. Songoo at a push. The rest haven’t nailed down spots enough long term to win it

 

The fans, 16,000 today after the shit we’ve endured this last 4 and a bit years is remarkable. Non of the players are worthy of that tag and while Bradford City languish mid to lower mid table league 2 we should give any player such a title.

 

Nobody stands out.

 

i think once again we shouldn't have one. nobody deserves it in my opinion as the team have massively let us down again this year.

 

Paudie has edged it for me over the season so far but there's no real stand out and it's not a strong field.

 

He’s been shite and considering he’s captain of failure even worse.

 

Although he has missed too many games through injury, I would still nominate Vernam. He is by far our brightest spark in a dismal season

I hope we offer a new contract to him and he accepts

I'd be embarrassed to receive POY if I was one of the players in what has been another nothing season. Save them the shame and don't have it this year.

 

Embarrassing just thinking about POTS.

No one is deserving of it. If theres a knees up for this at the end of the season it's getting gatecrash and every single player will be dragged out along with the CEO.

Awarding anyone such an accolade would be a spit in the face of every single fan that has stepped foot inside VP this season.

 

Is there an official vote for this?

If so everyone should vote one of the youth team lads or if it has to be first team squad someone like Reece Staunton.

That should send a pretty clear message about the season.

We missed him yesterday. Plain to see.

 

We missed him due to the change in formation to accommodate him. But nowhere near the best player of the season. Hard to pick one though as the season has been that bad. But different to the relegation season where Lewis O'brien was head and shoulders above every player in the squad despite it being the worst season I've probably seem in 40 years of watching them.

 

All I’ve seen of City this season is 6 minutes of the Hartlepool game on iFollow - based on my 6 minutes of watching City this season I’m going with Foulds.
