Can't believe you would call PP your demi god rubbish Park .

 

As much as I respect Parky for what he did for us and will defend him when our fans criticise the job he did for us, I don't get City fans falling over themselves to congratulate him and Bolton. I couldn't give a shit about Bolton, just like I won't be cheering on Scunthorpe or Charlton because we have ex players there. My only concern is City and our shit season, and looking ahead to next season.

When Bolton were losing early this afternoon some were winding up to have a real go. Sock in mouth now

 

Although I wouldn't personally do that as I couldn't give two shits about Bolton, why should that bother a City fan? There is only one club that should matter too a City fan, I can't understand congratulating a club who beat us too our goal last year. If Parkinson stayed at the start of last season maybe we'd be where Bolton are, that's a sickerner too me and doesn't make me want too see Bolton succeed.

 

What an achievement. Found myself cheering their 3rd goal like they were actually my team!

They made it difficult for themselves but when the chips were down it all turned out well for PP again.

Don't bear Parky any ill will at all. Pleased he kept them up on the last day. You look at what millwall and the blades did though, maybe says something about how high up the ladder he can really go. Nonetheless he kept them up, i guess next season will be the one that shows if he can kick on at all.

 

Embarrassing that any self respecting City fan would cheer on another club, unless you had serious money on them, hope that was a wind up?

 

I've cheered on various clubs over the years. I'm not bitter. It's only a game.

Always want English teams to do well in Europe for example and I'm always happy to see managers/players who have given me joy over the years to do well.

 

Is this a wind up, can't we as football fans have an opinion on anything non Bradford City ?.

 

Of course they can, an opinion is a bit different to cheering on another team.

 

Did you cheer when Madine equalised against us last season, killing our auto hopes off. It's not about being bitter, it's about having passion for a different club. Suppose we are all different but seems odd to me. Like when grown men sit in pubs cheering Man Utd on when they have no connection to Manchester and have never been to a game.

 

No. I'd never cheer against City obviously but I don't think they were playing yesterday?

I don't have any passion for Bolton as such. When those 2 late goals went in yesterday though I was genuinely delighted and excited for PP, Parkin Allenby and the rest of the ex-city guys who had achieved that turnaround.

 

Obviously I was not necessarily concentrating on Boltons game yesterday but when it was mentioned they were losing I had a look on the BBC site and saw they had equilised, then refeshed the page and they had scored what turned out to be the winner keeping Bolton in the Championship.
I said during the closed season I fancied Parky to keep Bolton up and got a few derogatory comments about why should I want that, maybe for a similar reason to what @Aaron Baker posted above "I'm always happy to see managers/players who have given me joy over the years to do well", I don't see a problem @WilsdenBantam Parkys moved on to better things, and IMO given sufficient funds he will make them a high to midtable Championship club in the near future.
