Oxford bumming

In case anybody is interested, as of this afternoon we had sold over 3,000 £1 tickets for Saturday. (My old man asked the ticket office staff)

By my reckoning, we’ll have sold about 5,000 come 5pm Friday, give or take a few hundred.

Assuming majority of ST holders show up, plus away fans, we’ll be back to somewhere near the 20,000 mark.

If that doesn’t spur this lot on to victory against a fellow relegation threatened side then we might as well give up!

Good effort to come and watch a poor struggling City side that has managed to score only 5 home league goals all season.

20000 is a bit of a tall order. But hopefully there will be a good atmosphere and our misfiring team will respond

 

Of the people i know that are staying away on 'principle', it will take more than the offer of a pound a game to make them think of coming back. As JB says its season ticket holders who are staying away so the offer won't even affect them. Its pretty simple Park, as soon as Rahic f*cks off most of these stay awayers will come back. I admire their stance of 'principle'.

I think the real reason the fans aren't turning up is due to the lack of half time dancers. No coincidence that there's been a drop in attendance since the dancers stopped.

Im interested to know at what point you change your mind? If we had reached the prem but Rahic still here, would you still stay away? Championship? Top of L1? What if hes here ten years and the team are competitive?

City at home won one and drawn one. Lost rest. Scored 5 home goals.

We have to get better at home and this weekend has to be our second win.

Well thats an assumption from you. If that was the case I would suggest that that person would have some sort of chip on his shoulder. If Edin was here and we had reached the prem under him and people did not return because we spent half a season at the bottom of L1 then thats amazingly stupid.
